I swear the Fritters have some addicting drug in them! Delicious! Even the plain non glazed donut are so good. Always fresh and a «mom and pop» atmosphere that makes you feel welcomed. Must try yourself!!! Bring these donuts to work and everyone will love you.

The owner, Fred always does a fantastic job preparing an consistently delicious product. Whether it be an éclair, twist or one of many cake & glazed donuts. Each one is always oversized as well, making for an even better value. Oscars is a Leesburg institution for a reason, they’re head and shoulders above the two competitors in town. The other mom & pop spot just isn’t as well made or as tasty and the other competition, Dunkin… well you know what you get from a huge chain like that.

Super fresh donuts that remind of the ones my grandpa brought home. A definite sure bet! Expect a line on the weekends.

Had to see what all the hype was about — this popular Leesburg institution re-opened just over a year ago and I just got the chance to try it for the first time! I was quite young when the donut shop was originally open, but I’m glad I get to experience their second go-around. I visited Oscar’s on a weekday mid-morning, and found a few small tables and chairs inside, about 50% occupied by cute old ladies and their husbands. I gazed at the glass case and all of the delicious-sounding delights inside, almost missing the other donuts on the back wall. There were two friendly ladies behind the counter that were very polite and helpful. I stuck to the basics on my first visit, but will definitely be back to taste some of their specialties — I’ve heard good things about the maple bacon donuts, bear claws, and the red velvet cake donuts. I asked for for a blueberry cake donut and a maple glazed donut. Both were nice and crispy on the outside while moist on the inside(not my personal preference, I like my donuts super soft all over, but still enjoyable). They don’t skimp on size at Oscar’s — both of my donuts were pretty large. In the glass case, I also saw some strawberry fritters, cinnamon rolls(some with maple frosting), eclairs, etc. It will take many trips for me to work my way through both the glass case and the wall of donuts behind it — and I plan to come back and try them all! All in all, a yummy bakery and donut shop in a very convenient location that is back after being closed for many years. Definitely recommend it if you’re craving a sweet start to your day!
