My review is about having cataract surgery performed by Dr. Nasrullah and I am SO pleased!!! He is a wonderful surgeon. I am only 61 years old, but I have had cataracts for over 15 years and they only recently have affected my eyesight enough to have the surgery. I could have waited longer, but there really was not advantage to waiting, and I’m so happy I had it done. It’s interesting because, since they do one eye at a time, I have had a head-​to-​head contrast between my left eye still with a cataract and my right eye with the cataract removed and a new multi-​focal (Restor) lens implanted. I can SEE so much better and had no idea how much the cataracts affected my eyesight until I saw (am seeing!) the difference. Also, I am a real scardey cat and was really afraid of the surgery, but there really was NO PAIN! I was awake the whole time but it was very comfortable and really a breeze. A bit surreal, of course, but it didn’t hurt!
If you are considering it, please go ahead and do it — ask Dr. Nasrullah for my contact information and I would be happy to talk to you about my surgery and how my eyesight has been improved. Dr. Nasrullah did an excellent job. He is a very good listener, answered all the questions before and after, and did an excellent job in surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Nasrullah to anyone for cataract surgery. He gave me the options with the pluses and minuses for mulit-​focal vs Toric lenses. I chose Toric lenses, the result was a very pleasant surprise. Great doctor, great result

Dr Nasrullah did my aunt’s cataracts. We attended her Presurgery appointments as well as the day of her procedure.
On our first visit, Farida walked her through the procedure and answered all her questions. She was upfront about cost and even checked our insurance to determine what our final cost would be.
We met Dr Nasrullah during our initial visit. He was very nice and took his time answering our questions. He explained the procedure and what would happen afterwards. We were glad we got to meet him that day because we felt much better about the procedure and decided to move forward.
On the day of the procedure, we met Dr Nasrullah at the Reston Surgical Center. He reviewed the process and procedure again and answered our questions.
They collected payment the day of the procedure. Cash or Credit Cards only– no checks accepted.
The process was as quick as Dr Nasrullah described. The process itself took about 20 minutes, but with the preparation and post care we were at the center for about 2 hrs.
Before the procedure, my aunt’s vision was –6 due to the cataract. Now her vision is ²⁰⁄₂₀!
Very happy with the results!

Update on my eye condition. As photography is my hobby I thought I can see through lens well after my cataract surgery as the doctor said for distance my vision will be good, but I noticed it’s no better than before and I had to look through the lens with my left eye.
I had bad cold on surgery day and doctor marked on the eye ball 2 times since my eyes were watery and the first marking got wiped out in a few min, but after the second marking I waited for a while and wonder whether the markings stayed in and the Toric lens was placed precisely
