We went to this restaurant for my birthday and could not have been more disappointed. I’m not sure who is writing these great reviews but it must be friends or family! First thing out of the gate, we ordered Corona with lime. After they delivered the beer opened they tell us no lime. Not much choice now but to drink it. The oysters were good as were the fried pickles. My husband had the fried oyster platter and he ordered no veggies or bread but fries and extra hush puppies. it came with veggies and bread and 2 hush puppies. My sister ordered a burger and fries with onion and tomato and mayo. It showed up with no tomato and a wee end of an onion. The Mayo took an extra 10 minutes to get after requesting 2 times. After asking twice for tomato she got a small slice and the end of a tomato. I ordered crab legs for $ 17.99. They came with nothing but butter. They were served in the steamer pan instead of a plate. I was less than impressed. The server left our finished dinner on our table and we finally removed it ourselves. My sister kept saying she was getting bit by something. By the time we got home she had 5 bites on her. I think the booths need a good scrubbing. We will not be going back!

The food was actually pretty good, but the service was abysmal. I believe the server/​bartender may have been imbibing with her customers. She forgot our order, was late with our food and was generally just unprofessional.

The oysters and shrimp were unbelievable! It is a very unassuming place with only a small bar and eating area. It was top shelf and the owner came out to visit and also prepare us some food made to order. If you are ever in Leesburg, Fl you would be crazy to not make this a stop!

Not impressed at all. We didn’t even stay to try the food so I can’t judge that at all. We ordered some drinks and then got so uncomfortable we left. The owners son (who runs the place) was just hanging out behind the bar with his friends. They had no concern for the fact that customers were sitting right next to them. Their conversation was lude, rude and extremely unprofessional. Won’t be going back which is sad bc we LOVE oysters.

Had steamed Clam bucket. They were outrageously great. Make No mistake this bar is a Dive but clean and great food. The jalapeño crab bites apps were equally great
And they have Yingling on draft

Don’t let the rustic appearance fool you, this is hands down some of the best seafood around. Great specials and super friendly staff. Everyone checked on us to make sure our beers were cold and crab legs hot. Everything cooked just right from clams and crabs to catfish!!! Price was very reasonable and you can tell the food was fresh. We will definitely be coming back.

This place is amazing. The oysters are so big they can hardly fit on a cracker. Chad the owner is awesome. They have amazing specials always going on. You have got to stop by and check out The Mag!!!

The older reviews lead me to try the place. The raw & fried oysters were very well prepared & good, but it must have been a bad year because they were small. Reasonable pricing, & would have liked to try a special but there weren’t any that day. Once is enough; not interested in returning.

Came to watch a boxing fight and had a great time. Sat on the patio, ordered wings and beer for a GREAT PRICE. Cool little spot!

Visiting Florida with a buddy and wanted an oyster bar. Found this place on a few different websites and it had good reviews. The oysters were fresh, they open at 11 so a good spot to start the day. The service was friendly, the long neck clams and crawfish were also excellent. Not an expensive big fancy place but everything was really good. Anytime you can get food served to you at the bar this guy is a happy camper. They shuck em right there in front of you and have daily specials.
