Kohl’s

Be careful with the «Kohl’s cash.» I purchased $ 200+ in product – with cash, no coupons, no store credit, no kohl’s cash – and needed to exchange two items. I could have simply returned them for cash, but I didn’t, I took store credit. So, Kohl’s retained 100% of my original sale, they lost nothing. Yet they invalidated half of the Kohl’s cash, as if «return» (Kohl’s keeps 0% or only some part of the sale) and «exchange» (kohl’s keeps 100% of the sale) were the exact same concepts. I don’t know, is it hard to understand??? The employees sure didn’t get it.
Moral of the story: If you need to do an exchange, use any relevant kohl’s cash FIRST. That’s all I needed to do in order to not be cheated out of it.

I love Kohls! The prices are unbeatable and the selection is great! This is where I take my kids school shopping and you just can’t beat the bargain! ! Love the Kohls cash too!

I went to Kohl’s on my lunch break today. first of all the store is a mess. I was purchasing a few things for a wedding that were on clearance. 2 of the items had clearance stickers on them and the other 2 did not. They were all under a clearance display and they were all identical. When I got to the register they only 1 rang up clearance and the cashier would not give them to me at clearance price even though one had a clearance sticker and the other 2 were the same thing. She called the manager who agreed with the cashier that it didn’t matter if they were marked clearance. REALLY! I refused to buy anything and left. The funny thing is the people who patiently should in line behind me met me in the parking lot and told me that the cashier and manager were ridiculous and they too were not going to shop there anymore. I hope it was worth it!

Kohls is certainly a step up from any other stores, but don’t expect to get the same personalized service you might-​get at JC Penny or Mercy’s
I don’t like the bogus sales statics of their 15−30% discount for their Store card holder. I do have one. I use to spend lot of Money to get use of discount coupon they send without realizing they have kept the price very high when they send those discount coupon.
Now I have been shopping from JC Penny and I found price to be very reasonable even without any coupon.

Mediocre selection, decent prices, NO cashiers ever working the registers. I have been waiting currently, at 7:18 on a Monday night for 15 minutes. Seriously? Hire some more people to ring customers up.

Kohl’s has always great deals. The staff is great and very friendly, they always go out of their way to help or answer any questions. We have been shopping there since 2000 and it has always been a great experience.

This place just always seems like a mess. The items they sell are at a good price and are quality, but the staff just does not keep up with the mess this place is always in.

It’s a mid-​range department store. I shop here for things for my goddaughter, since she grows so fast and changes her idea of fashion rather quickly. Great buys on just about everything. If you’re shopping for kids, this is a must. Also, if you want to experiment with the latest fashion trends without committing to the look, this is a great way to try them out.
You can also score some really great buys on things that you need for your home: towels, rugs, dishes, cookware. Once you’re on their mailing list, they regularly send coupons for 10−30% discounts on your entire purchase — even off the sale price.
The quality is not the greatest, hence the three-​star rating. However; you do get your money’s worth!!!

We shop at Kohl’s all the time and we love it. We get email coupons for $ 5 off all the time and they mail us $ 10 off coupons often as well which helps save a ton of money. There is no minimum purchase you just simply must spend at least the amount of the coupon. So you can pay a penny for something that is $ 5.01 which is pretty cool. It’s off the entire purchase too so you can bundle small items and pay nothing for them. They have awesome clearance which is great for Christmas shopping, you can find some really good stuff for up to 90% off if you look at the right time. They will load you up on gift boxes as well which is cool as most stores in the area have started charging for them or have ditched boxes entirely.
The only downfall is the employees who are a little like vultures with the Kohl’s card application thing. They get comission on every new account they open so they pretty much attack you to open a Kohl’s charge account. Not a huge deal, just kind of annoying, you would assume if they see you 5 times a week they would know the answer by now but it’s probably company policy that they must ask at least 3 times whenever they see you.
Great place to shop though and they have everything under the sun and the prices are pretty good.

Kohl’s is one of my go to stores for presents and sometime clothing. If you have a Kohl’s card they give you an additional 15% off there sale that are always going on. You have to look at the ad and try to go days that have 50% clothing and you can add the 15% off the end.
The men’s clothing on clearance you can find some good items. I found nice collared shirt for a Friday or Saturday night out for only $ 9.99!!!
I urge you to check out the jewelry when it is on sale for 60% because you can get some amazing fun pieces for cheap. Don’t tell anyone ;) but I have some diamond jewelry which looks like a million bucks but got it for $ 31 after coupons originally $ 150!!! I have also got cubic zirconia in sterling silver and I have gotten so many compliments and no one but myself knows that it’s fake.
