Holiday Travel Resort

Nice resort, Very wooden and country feel. Loved the adult pool and hot tub area for relaxing after a long day in the sun. There is a regular outdoor pool for adults/​families as well. Security guard was nice and helpful.
Major down side that prevents 5 star rating — when making the reservation THEY DO NOT NOTIFY YOU THAT THERE IS NO CHECK-​IN AFTER 11PM! BEWARE! this is because of their noise ordinance. This is fine and I respect that — however this should be communicated by them when making your reservation. We had tire and engine problems during our 300 mile trip that lead to our delayed arrival — causing us to arrive after 11pm. Unbeknown to us, we couldn’t pull into our campsite — the security guard instead made us camp and sleep at their front gate forcing us to run off our generator all nite!
It appeared that this happened to another camper, who was camping outside the gate too — who arrived at 11:10pm — and was denied check-​in as well. 10 minutes???
Management really needs to communicate their check in policy to all campers over the phone when making reservations and also via email confirmation. Many angry people!
