When I was a child living on Story Lane which runs parallel to N. Doublegate, I used to walk to the good ol’ Ee-​Zz Mart for a soda and a snack. Back then, going there was like going to a good friend’s house. You felt welcome, and comfortable. That feeling just isn’t there anymore. Now it’s just your average local convince store with average service, bad coffee. (sigh)
