Great cozy studio space with a very welcoming staff. It took me months to convince my husband to take a private lesson with me, but once we did, the instructor was so good that my husband actually had a great time and was surprised by how much we learned. Their prices for the drop in nights are great as well. Highly recommend!

This is a great place to learn different styles of dance from two great teachers. I’ve been doing salsa socially for a few years, but I’ve always wanted to get my boyfriend to come dance. For my birthday, my boyfriend signed us up for two months of dance classes to learn basic salsa.
The beginners classes start at the very basics and get you going with a lot of repetition and music of different tempos. We also have signed up for a private lesson before our time ends so that we can get a few key moves as a base.
I really like the class times at Dance King — very helpful for people with DC jobs who can’t get out to the area until 7pm at the earliest. Really fun environment to learn!

I’ve taken classes with Adam before at different venues. He’s a great instructor and I always learned something new. He’s very approachable and patient. You can tell he enjoys what he does and even if you are totally inexperienced he’s very welcoming.

I have been to a few of Adam’s classes and dancing has been something that I have always wanted to learn. I have also seen him at different venus and events. Great classes and great atmosphere with a lot of fun people. I didn’t think that Adam could push me out of my comfort zone.
