This place is a dump, I don’t understand how the owner allows trash to not only work there but smack their paying customers across the face and have managers who wait outside the bar to attack their young paying customers with their brothers! Some place this is… I would not recommend it to anyone better yet I will be telling the story for years about how«professional» this establishment is. This place is a joke, the manager is a joke and I can’t wait until this place goes out of business…

Food could definitely use some work. Try not having a bunch of frozen crap. But as for the bar, probably the best happy hour deals in the area. I have never had bad service and the bartenders do get to know you. Dollar beer days can’t be beat but remember to tip well and not $ 0.20 per beer. Pool tables could use a refresh. DJs usually suck. But the other events are usually cool. Great for sports events if you get there early enough for a table. But never think this is a place for conversation, it is usually a bit loud for that. All in all you could do a lot worse as a bar and a lot better for food.

Over priced drinks. Ungrateful servers. You should at least say thank you for a tip. I work hard for my money. Security seems to enjoy frisking people. I don’t enjoy guys feeling my balls. Won’t be back. Fool me once…

Paid a $ 20 cover to see the Mayweather v Pacquiao fight. I had to suffer the worst DJ ever(some guy called«G Wiz»). I want my money back.

We went to Bunkers for happy hour last night. Overall it was an ok experience but not great. The beer selection is relatively lackluster. We did have dinner ranging from wings with several sauces, chicken sandwich and ribeye beef sandwich. The food was generally ok but again nothing remarkable or noteworthy. You won’t want to sit too long on the bar seats as they are hardwood stools with no padding. Our conclusion was we will check out some other local venues as there are better places, but Bunkers is not a bad place to go occasionally.

The staff always treats me well. I feel like a regular even though I go once in a blue moon. You should try the hot wings they are off the chain. If you like hip hop on Friday night’s then this is your place.

I come here all the time to play poker. Not only do I come for that but I come for their BBQ Chicken Salad. I’m not a salad girl at all but that salad is CRACK. SOOO fresh, and feed 2 for the price of one. They have really good customer service; I once left without paying by accident and called the next morning to pay my bill over the phone and they were really nice about it. They have a huge space for dancing and have karaōke night, which is so fun. Just a great place to be!

I come here on Friday nights occasionally for Ultimate Friday’s. I usually party in DC just because that’s where a lot of the clubs are near Virginia. The Friday’s here are nice though. They turn it into a little club for the night. 95.5DJ’s all night and do radio broadcasts live from the lounge. LADIESFREEALLNIGHT. ALLAGES. 18+ chill 21+ to spill. It’s nice to get out and not have to drive all the way to the city sometimes! I recommend! Crowd: Very mixed. Lots of young and older. If you wanna get out and have a good time with your girls that won’t break your pockets for entry costs — Come to Bunker Sports Café for Ultimate Friday’s!

This is my second year celebrating New Years at Bunker Sports Café. Both times have been incredibly fun and the company is even better. A friend of mine introduced us to this place and the deal is awesome for their New Years celebration. B and I always get the $ 20/per ticket special. I like that the dance floor is spacious and crowd is always fun. The location works perfectly for us. We don’t like being stuck in traffic or venturing out to an area that is overly crowded during New Years Eve. This place is perfect for us! I like that if you don’t feel like dancing, you can go play pool or some of the other games they have around the sports café. We really enjoy the low key/chill vibe of this place. Our server was super sweet this year. She was incredibly attentive and friendly, which made our experience all the more fun. This is what was posted on their website for this years New Years party: «Admission of only $ 20/per ticket, which grants you full access to the New Year’s buffet, 2 drink tickets(good for house drinks and beer only), party favors, and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Upgrade your party experience to a $ 40/per ticket package, which includes full access to the New Year’s buffet, 4TOPSHELF drink tickets(good for any drink of your choice), party favors, and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. For the ultimate New Year’s Eve experience, the $ 70/per ticket package, buys you 8TOPSHELF drink tickets and ALL the perks mentioned above.» Happy 2015 Unilocal family!

Hadn’t been here for a few years until this afternoon. Was my pleasure to meet a really awesome bartender, Cat, sweet personality with a cool vibe! Ordered the BLT, lightly toasted white-bread, mayo with requested American cheese and side of «chips». I put chips in quotation marks because when she offered them after I turned down fries, I was expecting a bag of Lay’s. These are far from that, crispy, fresh tasting with perfect seasoning of salt. Liked them so much, I suggested to Cat that they should promote them as the house specialty dish! My BLT was pretty dang good as well, not that cheap bacon you get from the chain restaurants, it was meaty and laid on generously. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in the area.

Came here to check out their Sat happy hour. They were also advertising karaōke that night. The two drinks I ordered were WAY watered down. It was really dead at first but seemed to pick up a little with people coming in to shoot pool. The pool table I was at was OK. I didn’t try the for but other people’s food looked good. Looks like a good place to go shoot pool but not to drink.

Came here to watch the USA vs Belgium in the World Cup. Great vibe with all the fellow American supporters. I’m sure football season here is fun, too. We ordered a few appetizers and brews, and I was pleased with both. The service was great– we had multiple servers ask us if we needed anything and servers were always stopping by to make sure we were satisfied. Only reason I give them a 4⁄5 is because it was so dark in the bar! The TVs were also pretty dark so at times it was hard for me to see the ball throughout the game. We were also seated in an awkward section in front of a stage but pretty far away from other table. We felt like little outcasts. Overall, a typical bar with typical beers and food.

Last Saturday night was my first night ever at Bunker. Every. Single. Person. Doing karaōke was a bombass singer. Seriously. Like the type people go and discover. Cool to watch but never will I ever get up on that stage.

Used to frequent this place quite a bit when I lived up the street a few years ago, probably a little too frequently. It’s a great bar with good bar food, they have pool tables, a dance floor, lots of TVs and will put on any game you want. Being from Philly I used to ask to put the flyers on and even in the middle of playoffs they’d find a tv for me. There’s a smokers lounge for the winter time or if you don’t wanna go outside. If you’re expecting fine dining you’re at the wrong place. The prices are fair(as fair as northern Virginia prices can be) the waitstaff was always friendly(and easy on the eyes) and I always had a good time. They also have awesome drink specials and all kinds of events such as live bands, quizzo, etc.

So disappointed tonight. Non existent waitstaff, slow kitchen and $ 6.95 for 6 mediocre wings. Definitely need to concentrate on drinking here because the food and table service is terrible.

I’ll preface this by saying I am definitely a city gal! I may live in the ‘burbs, but you will be hard pressed to find me partying out this way lol. But it was one of my bestie’s birthday and after she got rear-ended on her actual birthday the day before, there was no way we were letting her party by herself! This location happens to have a DJ from the radio station play every Friday night. The music choice was OK but quite honestly, if I am dancing on a Friday night, I’d prefer a good ol’ crank session ala U Street/Adams Morgan/DuPont. It was fun just to be in the company of my friends and spend some time making her smile. I cannot say that I will be here again unless its another birthday event amongst us. I’d much rather trek to the city :)

I’ve never eaten here, so I can’t vouch for their food… I’m also not a huge drinker, and haven’t been on the bar scene for very long. All that aside, the building itself is pretty big inside. There’s a pool table section, darts, the bar, booths, tables, and then the dance floor. It’s nice to have more of an open area to let loose than other smaller bars. In all honesty, it’s probably somewhere between a typical bar and a low end club. It’s nice to not have to go into the city just to dance though!

worst bar ever. just the about the only thing going for it was the dollar beers on Wednesdays but who knows if they even do that anymore. I will say it is a good place to watch sports tons of TVs. It can have a wanna be Jersey Shore vibe and that just isn’t a good thing. Drinks are expensive. Food is expensive and the service is average unless you are a regular and I mean regular by someone who appear to plant their butt on a bart stool every night from 5:01 to close.

Solid townie bar. Average food, great selection of beers in a bottle. Good place to watch sports, play pool, throw darts etc. Prices are fair, service is inconsistent, plethora of televisions with variable volume control. Overall, a solid place to hang out, watch a game and have decent bar food with a wide selection of beverages and no surprises …
