The Old Parsonage Bed and Breakfast

I found myself in Leechburg for a wedding and stayed here with a group. The owner, John, made us feel very welcome and took excellent care of us during our two night stay. He’s quite knowledgable in local history, too.
As you may have read/​seen, there is some unique interior decorating going on in this old church house. The décor features lots of antiques, faux antiquities, and a healthy dose of humor. I opted to stay in the Egyptian room and was not disappointed. Those less into ancient Egypt may prefer the other rooms; they looked classy, too.
Breakfast is served in a medieval-​themed dining room. Basics like pancakes, eggs, bacon, and grits are given the medieval treatment on the menu, but served in a perfectly sanitary and appetizing fashion. You can tell the owner has a lot of fun and loves his job.

Themed rooms and a friendly owner/​cook make for a great stay if you find yourself in Leechburg for a few nights.
