Went in for the first time yesterday. Great vibes, and even better coffee. I strongly considered ordering a second latte to finish the rest of my work with. I’ll definitely be back.

My first and only visit so far… Good and polite service. Great latte. I can tell the espresso is fresh. No syrup but the espresso gave the latte a subtle sweetness. Others have complained about the temperature. My drink wasn’t scalding hot by any means, but was right in the drinkable range. I have no complaints on the temp, but if I were driving somewhere else to drink it maybe I would want it hotter. Anyway, five stars and well deserved in my opinion.

I’m not a big coffee person, but I love tea and their hugo chai is the best I’ve had yet!

Best coffee shop in lees summit, they roast all their own beans in house and I can tell by the flavor that these guys actually know how to roast. Lots of seating and outdoor space. Seriously freaking amazing coffee!!!

I’ve given Post 3 tries — try three was not a charm. Ambiance — cool modern vibe, clean interior, hipster snobs running the bar. Coffee — I’ve tried the hot chai(lukewarm, lacking flavor and sweetness), Americano(very average flavored espresso lacking depth and intensity), and latte(just okay). My main issue has been the temperature of the drinks — my body temperature is higher than what they are serving. Customer service — came in today with a gift card… was told«we’re offline right now can you pay another way…». Of course they could take credit??? Really surprised me. I should have just left as the drink was not good anyway. Lesson learned — I won’t be back.

Great coffee, very clean design and friendly staff make Post a great local coffee shop. My espresso was perfection, not overextended and was a good way to start a Sunday morning. Post looked to have a good selection of breakfast items available for customers. All in all a coffee shop that does not disappoint!

What impressed me right away was the clean, modern look. The building has garage like windows which allows a lot of sunlight in the morning. There is also a room with a coffee lab which I thought was neat. The coffee was a tad expensive, but was good quality. I ordered the cortada. It reminded me of a kaldis. The staff was really friendly and able to explain their coffee menu. I would definitely come here again on a nice day.

Quality in a cup! I’m not much of a coffee drinker, but I enjoy their cortado. While the modern, urban vibe is nice, this place could use more comfortable seating.

Perfect ambiance with light acoustic music, lots of natural light, open floor concept with plenty of seating. Love the casual, comfortable feeling on a Sunday morning. Didn’t feel rushed or like a number. And, to top it off I got the best chai I think I’ve ever had… The flavor comes in layers of spices and creamy, dreamy waves. Definitely going out of my way to support this place. Thanks for making a workday a great day!

Super friendly staff at this hip coffee house. I ordered a flat white with almond milk… Wonderful! My friend raved about the Hugo chai tea. The minimal décor is streamlined, with gorgeous windows and farmhouse/modern feel. We will definitely be back soon. Ample parking is a plus too. Seem to be lots of regulars who patron here.

Great ambiance here, and a very nice, modern space. They roast their own coffee in a little room in the back with floor length windows so you can watch it all go down. My latte was perfectly balanced and I loved my Dutch letter cookie!

Another place to enjoy quality coffee. If you like coffee you need to stop here at some point. Post offers ample seating areas, both inside and out. The interior is very spacious, with long tables great for groups or getting some work done, and smaller more intimate tables for two or four people. It has very moden and appealing décor. And the music selection went great with the setting. They roast their beans in-house and the roaster is out on display in the seating area, which makes for an eye catching set piece. The staff was friendly and eager to make recommendations. They offer teas, espressos, and pour over coffee, all very reasonably priced. I had the Kenya for $ 4. I will definitely be returning.

I loved the interiors of this place. It is a great place to come and work or have a peaceful time with friends. The coffee was good too but the 4 star is for the service. The baristas were least enthusiastic about the order, they did not ask if u wanted my coffee to go or in a cup, they were least passionate about the entire order as such. Nevertheless I would still go back just for the great interiors.

It had been a while since my last coffee stop in St. Louis. My eyes were beginning to glaze over. But oh well, what were the chances of finding good coffee in my current location? Which appeared to be a nice, clean suburb of KC.(Or not really that nice. Or rather not very hip, and where there’s hipness there’s usually good coffee.) A somewhat run-down strip mall approaches. From the looks of things it Might be good enough for a Starbucks. Hold on though. Up there on an old barn beam is some metal lettering that says Post Coffee Co. Looks like it might be worth a try. I see the first good sign as I’m walking up to the building. There are hipsters coming out of the woodwork for this place. Which lends to my aforementioned hopefulness. I walk inside and am warmly greeted by a furry barista who frequently uses words such as man, bro and boss. He proceeded to brew me up a beautiful Columbian pour-over while I grabbed a bag of their Brazilian beans. That Brazilian coffee was some nice tasting coffee, but the smell was even more incredible. More scents of milk chocolate wafted from that bag than did normal coffee smell. And the style of the place. I must say something about that since it’s so charming and non typical. A very clean design. Lots of white materials and lots of natural light flooding in through the many windows. I love it. It’s so fresh. The style, the simple quality, the unlikeliness of the location, the wonderful baristas… Amazing, nothing short of amazing.

I’m not sure if I came into this with my expectations too high, but I left very disappointed. The baristas were uninterested in me and my order, and more interested in their friends at the closest table. The drinks were tiny, weak, watered down, with heavy ice. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, that mixed with the«urban» vibe is really the only reason I’d come back!

Yep! I like this place.(a lot) Thanks to my brother who invited me to come along to work at his local coffee shop… I would have never experienced such a cute little place in Lee’s Summit. So where should I begin… First, I’m not a coffee drinker, but I hear the pour overs are the best! You coffee drinkers out there will have to go discover that on your own! The menu is simple. I, of course, wanted something that was not on the menu, but the barista was happy to make me a chai latte! The chai tea had great spice and flavor(and the owner of the chai tea supplier, Hugo, was in house!). The tea was steeped perfectly and then chilled with ice and mixed with my non-dairy milk alternative, almond milk. As I was finishing my order, I look down to see a lone scone and asked what is the flavor of the scone… to which I heard music to my ears… strawberry rhubarb! I immediately said that was my favorite and it was waiting for me to arrive to buy it, so I did. My first bite… I discovered the baker adds basil. It was a match made in coffee shop heaven! I’m only in town visiting for a week, but I’m determined to find my way back to this coffee shop to do more writing/work! The atmosphere is cute(slightly hipster), the staff are friendly, and the treats are enjoyably #foodielicious. With free wifi and lots of seating, I wish this place existed in San Diego!

The baristas know their stuff. Just got a great Costa Rician. Very balanced coffee. If you are a coffee drinker this is a must stop. The atmosphere is unparalleled in the area! They have done an incredible job of seating(inside and out). Quite to be able to read and get work done when needed. The coffee is roasted onsite. It is fresh. Different selections of coffee for the coffee palate. The baristas know there terminology as well as how to brew a great cup. This is a «Don’t Miss»!

Excellent pours and espresso. Featured roasts are diverse and delicious. Staff are knowledgeable, hospitable, and skilled in their trade. The space encourages productivity and imagination. Your love for coffee and it’s community will not only be satisfied but enlivened again by your experience at Post. Try the Sumatran, you won’t regret it.
