Under new ownership & it’s AWFUL!!! They forget a part of our order each time & they think it’s acceptable of them to do so. The owner pretends do not understand when you explain that it’s not okay to forget part of your delivery or to bring half of your delivery with a promise to bring the rest later & still have you pay 100% for it. Completely ridiculous.

I absolutely love supporting small businesses and hate leaving not so great reviews, but the service here was horrible, I could see if they were slamming but it was almost empty, 2 other tables, the take out seemed to move quick but sit down not so much, and the food was mediocre tasted like it just came out of freezer, the bread they served before the meal was great though!

Valentino’s used to have some of the best pizza, pasta, and grinders around. We were really disappointed when we got home with our pizza last week. The sausage tasted like old grease, the white pizza with prosciutto was nothing more than a canned alfredo sauce with little chopped prosciutto. Previous times it was an authentic white pizza with nice thin slices of prosciutto. We ended up throwing away almost two whole expensive pizza’s. We won’t be eating there again.

Absolutely love the pizza and garlic knots here!!! I’ve also had the Stromboli’a before and they are delish. They always give you a «deck slice»(like a small slice of pizza to snack on while you wait) which I love and it lets you try new varieties of pizza without committing to a slice. This is a MUSTTRY!!! And the only pizza around the closest to NY pizza other than Nino’s in Uncasville and They have the same owner.

Valentino’s is absolutely wonderful for their delivery service. Their food comes nice and hot and doesn’t look like it was thrown around in the trunk of the car. We use Valentino’s whenever we want pizza and don’t feel like going out.

The first few times I visited Valentino’s, the pizza was fabulous. We drive 15 minutes(30 minutes round trip!) just to get their pizza rather than the local pizza joints. However, last time we were majorly disappointed to get home and find our pizza completely charred on the bottom… Very disappointed, Valentino’s…

Nice people and waitstaff, but I don’t really like their red pizza. It’s a gigantic grease ball, to the point where you can’t taste anything but grease. Sometimes there’s barely any cheese on the pizza — it’s just grease and bread! I’d get something else — the seafood dinners aren’t bad, and the things in the case(spinach wheels, ect) may be a bit greasy, but they have flavor! The soups and salads aren’t bad either. The only reason I rated this as I did is that as a place primarily billed as a PIZZA restaurant, the pizza really isn’t that great and while the rest of the food is okay, nothing is really amazing.

I’ve been eating Santos and Richie’s pizza since I was a kid and they were working at Roman Delight in the Crystal Mall. I compare every new slice I’ve eaten all over the world to this place. Love Valentinos. Great pizza, spaghetts, and apps. Good and kind folks work there too. Anthony Costa is solid too. His father can/used to sing a hell of a tune in the restaurant.

Best pizza around! When my boyfriend and I first moved to the area, we had a hard time finding a pizza place we liked. This place is what pizza is all about. The dough is thin & crispy, but soft enough that you can fold it in half. It’s a Brooklyn style pizza. My favorite part is that they shred their chicken to go on the pizza so it’s all over. And not chunk it so you’re getting big chunks of chicken. The chicken, bacon, ranch is amazing. The buffalo chicken is fantastic. But then again, it’s hard to pick a favorite when they’re all to die for. Even their house salad is delicious. All the ingredients are fresh and plentiful on both the pizza and the salads.

We didn’t hit this place on purpose. My husband & I had business to discuss with our clients & this happened to be the closest place. We came in strictly to talk and grab a quick drink. I’ll tell you what… I’m glad we accidentally ended up here! From the second we walked in the door it was as if we were welcomed into someones home. The genuine feeling of «hey, thanks for coming in» continued while we enjoyed our discussion and round of drinks. The food SMELLED incredible so I wish we were there to eat, but because of the service we received(even as non-eaters) we will be back! Small things, but in this day & age, where people have a choice, it’s nice to see great service and true hospitality. As we left we were offered a sincere thank you. Well done, Valentinos!

From the outside looks like strip mall pizza joint. Looks are decieving. After a couple visits, the veal parm. and chicken parm. are excellent. Cooked to perfection. Outstanding hidden gem for non locals.

The food here is excellent. My wife and friends were recently here and I have to say the veal was fresh and well done. I was impressed by the service, appetizers, and food I general. Also they did remodel the facility so it’s not drafty anymore.

Went in to get pizza to go. Was immediately given a small sliver of pizza«a snack» they called it. Ordered a spinach spiral. Don’t be fooled, it wasn’t vegetarian. It was FILLED with pepperoni, spinach, and cheese. Served with flavorful marinara sauce. Perfect.

I love this place. I’m Never disappointed with the food I receive. There is always large portions, freshly made every time. I’ve never met a friendly staff either. I’m always treated like a good friend instead of a random customer. It’s a refreshing environment and great food. It’s my local go to for pizza and I love their salads. Nom noms!!!

I have to admit when I first walked in here I wasn’t too impressed. It had the décor of a typical take-out pizza joint and did not strike me a nice Italian restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised, however, when the bread and oil were served. The bread was hot and homemade and went perfectly with the oil. I would have to say it was one of the best breads I’ve ever had at a restaurant, and it took a lot of effort not to fill up on that prior to my meal. For my meal I ordered the Gnocchi Nonna Teresa which was absolutely excellent. It came with fresh spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, HUGE artichoke hearts, and an awesome sauce. I also added chicken but it didn’t need it. The chicken was good but there was plenty of food without it and it seemed a little out of place in that meal. The dish was so big I was able to get two additional meals out of the leftovers(part of that was because I had a little too much bread before my meal). Overall I would definitely return here when I’m in the area. I also really appreciate that Valentino’s cares so much about their community. I probably never would have found this place if they hadn’t been hosting a fundraiser to help a local family. It’s nice to see a local business that is still closely connected with their local community.

Mid size mom and pop Italian restaurant. We ordered two salads and a sausage mushroom pizza. Fresh veggies, recommendation do not use pitted olives on a salad. Pizza was served hot, great sauce(not sweet) with flavorful sausage. If you are looking for a place to dine with a bf, husband or family this is a nice place. Clean, pressed T Shirt and Jeans would help you fit in. Very relaxed. Give this place a try. And as always… Cheers.

Cute local pizza place in the area. Solid service. The vegetarian pizza is by far one of the best I’ve ever had. Great toppings. However, overall I found the crust on their pizzas a little too dry. Though, at the same time, the cheese pizza was a bit too runny. Side salad was hearty and had lots of olives. I also liked the side of bread, which was buttery goodness.
