More like a collectible/vintage mall… Not too many ‘antiques’. Still nice to stop and stretch your legs.

I shop for anything industrial, mid-century, salvage, traditional, etc… a few great dealers but most have too much everyday random stuff. Staff could barely say hi as they were watching a movie. I have seen stuff here from two owners ago. There are some high lights, Judy with her Indian jewelry, pots and rugs and Joel with his great array of mantiques(my fav) and that is about it, unfortunately.

I totally found this place on accident while fueling up for my trip home. Let me just say, it’s one of THEBEST antique malls I’ve EVER been to, not only do they have a little bit of everything, but the people who work there are just down to earth and just NICE people. I make my trip through the grapevine once every 1 — 2 weeks, I’ll definitely be coming back!

I brake for antiques. Even when it’s been a long and stressful weekend, and all I want to do is be home in bed, but that’s still hours away and the only thing stopping us from being there is the long road. The road and the antique stores. It doesn’t even bother me when these great shopping destinations tack on a little bit of extra time to our drive. Not that I do much shopping. It’s mostly browsing for me. I’ve got enough ‘stuff’ in my home already thanks to the borderline hoarding influence my mother passed down to me. But I LOVE looking at all the treasures of others: new and old. This place was bigger than we expected and had a variety of individual booths. Each one had its own theme and you could really feel the unique personalities of the sellers through their items. We had a great time exploring. No purchases.(Good girl, Amy.) «One man’s trash is another’s treasure.» No way, baby. It’s all treasure if you can be creative enough. I’m not all that artsy but I love when I see items recycled in a much different way than expected. UPCYCLING is actually the term for this art. Browse some images online. And then next time you stop in an antique store, think about this! Some people are so amazing! Make something beautiful! :)

When you first walk inside the antique mall there was a lot of Indian jewelry and neat moonstone watches. The place is broken into a bunch of small sections where different sellers get to sell their items. The sellers themselves are not there haggling with you to buy things its just a space that they rent for their stuff to get seen. There also seemed to be a lot of old military equipment and unfortunately my wife wouldn’t let me buy an old army megaphone. Come on, how much trouble could I have really got in to with that. I mean downtown Walnut Creek loves it when you drive down the street and you are on a megaphone yelling«HELLOLADIES.» When are little tour of the antique mall was over we didn’t end up buying anything but the store was really cool and next time we are on our way home from L.A. we will stop there again.

Great place with friendly staff. I needed a can opener and asked if they had one I can borrow, a nice lady gave me one and said I can keep it.

It’s a pretty nice concept to have many sellers under one roof. Alas, it was a bit confusing since the sellers aren’t actually there. Many, many of the items there were not antiques. Especially the clothes! There were gloves and assorted accessories that totally came from the 99 cent store. If you’re into furniture and home accessories this is the place for you. But if you like true vintage clothes or knick nacks, keep walking. Prices were a bit high, so I didn’t buy anything. If you need to stretch your legs after a long car trip, stop by.

Ah Lebec… stop for the petrol and a diet coke. Stay for the antiques. Very fun to explore. I wanted the Berlin Olympics ticket and Nixon seltzer mirror but instead walked away with several pairs of boots.

this is one of those spots that i like to call MYVERYFAVORITEINTHEWORLD. in all these years living in the bay area but having my heart in san diego, i’ve travelled up and down the five about a million times. stopping at the grapevine antique mall is always a must. & by stopping i mean, seriously. i’ve gotta look through every nook & cranny because you know, it’s FULLOFTREASURES. on my last trip up, i stopped here and found: a very good atrology book for fifty cents, teeny tiny raggedy ann & andy dolls like the ones of my youth, the most super awesome psychedelic grandma afghan you’ve ever seen, and some iron owl hot plates.(i mean, the things you put hot plates on. made of iron. in the shape of owls. i think, now, that those might be called trivets.) i also found a mandolin for lance, but did not actually buy it because i had already bought him other presents, and he is my EX boyfriend, okay?! i am moving to san diego in three weeks minus one day. i am driving a uhaul full of my stuff down the five to get there. i will be stopping here, buying more crap, and stuffing it into my sure-to-be-overstuffed uhaul. totally looking forward to it. love!

What an amazing find! We pulled off the road for what we thought would be a quick pit stop on the grapevine, on way back to SF from LA, but my boyfriend noticed the antique mall and we got totally side-tracked! So much for a six-hour drive! They have so much cool stuff in here-it is packed with goodies, yet not so much so that you can’t find what you’re looking for. My boyfriend picked up a pair of gorgeous leather cowboy boots for $ 27, something he had been searching for relentlessly over the past few months! I could have dropped major dough in there myself, but I put a $ 20 cap on my spending and still walked out with a vintage reproduction light switch plate and a cute felt bulletin board. They had lots of cool furniture as well as various knick knacks. The prices were unbelievable, especially on the bigger ticket items, like settees, arm chairs, dressers, and trunks, and many things were in near-perfect condition. WOW! I will definitely remember this place for future visits. Very cool and so my style! A must-see for antiques collectors!
