The Home Depot

Ok so Home Depot stores are pretty consistent in my opinion. I find their prices reasonable and their staff is friendly and easy to deal with. This particular store is always very clean and well maintained which I think is important. I actually purchased my carpet from the location and found Kat in the flooring department wonderful to deal with. As a first time carpet purchaser, I was very nervous and unsure. She helped me to get excited and feel at ease about the process.

Staff is always friendly and nice and you can tell they enjoy what they do everyday. My only complaint is the disconnect between the many parties that are involved when it comes to big jobs such as a flooring install. I had to keep correcting their mistakes (simple ones like having the wrong phone number on my account) and it got a little out of hand. If it wasn’t for my persistance, my flooring materials would probably still be sitting at the local store. I had to follow up three times to ensure that they were going to be delivered and then I had to follow up again to «remind» them to schedule the installation date. I don’t really have a problem doing this, but I would assume that most people would find this annoying. For the price I’m paying for the flooring, they should be able to organize the process without my hand holding along the way.
Again, I really do enjoy the Home Depot and this store in particular with exception to the recent experience I had in regards to a flooring install. The flooring has not been installed yet, and I will be writing a follow up review — hopefully praising their good work!

This is actually a nice home depot… the staff is super nice and helpful.
