The service is friendly, but the food is entirely mediocre. Straight diner food. The coffee sucks as all diner coffee sucks, with the ubiquitous little tiny tubs of «half and half product». The seats of all the booths are held together with duct tape, and plastic tarps cover up part of the ceiling where there seems to be an ongoing remodel project. The waitresses are young, shiny with lip gloss and call everyone sweetie. Very reasonably priced. If you know exactly what you are getting yourself into, it works. If you’re looking for something interesting or different, you may not get what you want.

The food there is great and the service is nothing but friendly. I’ve even seen the owner of the shop get his hands dirty behind the counter and work the grill so you can tell that he someone who cares. I have stopped in here about three times in the last week and every single meal has been great. The steak was lean and well seasoned, The pancakes are light and fluffy, and the omelettes are big and filling. So far I’ve only gone for breakfast but I can’t wait to try it for lunch or dinner.

Attention to detail. Threads hanging from the curtains, crack running down the wall, pot with plastic plants in the window. If these things don’t matter to you, then you’ll be in pretty good shape here. The food, especially breakfast is perfectly fine. Nothing really wrong with it, but also nothing inspired(as you can imagine with the plastic plants). My farmers omelette was served as if plated by a one armed blind man, but was perfectly tasty. Same for the 2 pancakes, 1 scrambled, and a side of bacon beside me. Don’t go out of your way to find this place, but if you’re across the street and hungry, there are worse places you could go.
