I have some pretty specific shoe needs. My wife can tell you I’m possibly the most annoying male shoe shopper out there. Some of the problem I have is I keep blowing out the right foot both arch support, front toe, and if the shoe has air bubbles I’ll pop those somehow.
I also try to get shoes that I can use both at work, working out, and casually, but I try to get things that you cannot reflect lasers off of nor SHOES FROM THE FUTURE AS SEEN FROM 1980 (dramatic echo effect)
I’ve been destroying a lot of New Balance shoes lately — there’s something about how comfy these things are right up until the arch explodes and I start walking funny /​then my back hurts /​etc…
Went in to the Reebok store with little real hope of finding anything I want — usually name-​brand other than NB all look like shoes from a 1980’s Very Special After School Special, but they had what I needed in a laser refractive coating I could handle. They also had the elusive track pants that don’t make me feel like I should be in a basketball commercial or a retirement community. These I have been searching for for a long time,
I rounded it off with the track jacket just so I can feel extremely unathletic but look pimp.
Can’t speak to the quality of everything, but the selection was great, and if for some reason you feel the need to recreate the late 80’s, perhaps for your next Kid-​n-​Play party, they have some plastic high tops there straight outta an 80’s wet dream.
All in all, a good find.
