Great Mexican food and delicious Margaritas! Fairly pricey but they have cheap margaritas on Mondays and Tuesday’s. Staff was attentive probably not the best Mexican in Nashville but pretty great for Lebanon!

Started with a generous portion of complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were hot and fresh, the salsa was a little runny for my taste but still good. The table side guacamole was a winner. Chunky, seasoned well, very nice. I had the veggie fajita. The veggies were well prepared, but I was surprised that it was served without tortillas. No problem, the server brought me some when I asked. Service was a little slow, they seemed to be understaffed, but the waitress was nice. They had a special on dos equis draft, another plus. A good dinner, I’ll be back if I’m ever in Lebanon again.

Showed up at 9:55… Said they were no longer seating because they were closed… On a Friday night… Asked why they advertised as being open until 11 if they close at 9:30, they stated«we aren’t busy enough» uh yeah, I’m sure you’re not if people have no clue what time you close!!! Go to their competitor in Mount Juliet, always open until 11 and always slammed because they are actually open until 11!

By far the best Mexican restaurant in Nashville area. Located in Lebanon, it offers everything from traditional Mexican food to seafood and raw oysters. I ordered the Molceita(sp). An iron pot full of skirt steak, chicken and shrimp. Below that is tomatoes, bell pepper and onions. All of that is topped with a cactus leaf(first time eating a cactus leaf) served with soft tortillas. Absolutely fantastic. If you love fajitas you will thoroughly enjoy this dish. Excellent service and delicious food. Must go here I’d in Lebanon TN

Well, we’ve been sitting here for over two hours, party of 21; yes we had reservations. First they seated us twenty minutes after our reservation: not because they are slammed but because they have one pregnant girl running the hostess station. They aren’t busy; Empty tables abound. On a Sunday night. About the only thing we got were drinks, and alcohol: served by under age Hispanic girls with braces. We watched in disbelief as the manager arranged chairs out in the lobby. Three in our party just left to get subway and brought it back because their kids are starving. Seriously two hours at the table; also the food is crappy for a Mexican restaurant considering the prices. Any questions? Oh hey they just delivered a kids hamburger! Woohoo! After two hours??? P. S. Note to management: We have recordings of the underage servers serving tequila, beer, and margaritas. Sheri Party of 25 on Sunday the 17th of April.

This is one of the best Mexican places I’ve eaten at. Always plenty to eat and hot. Their Salsa Picasa is superb !!!

Food was good but there’s way too much cilantro in their guacamole and there was a hair in the first bite of my meal. They made me a new plate. Not my favorite place but it wasn’t AWFUL.

Friendly staff, but the food was very disappointing. Everything was absolutely covered in «cheese sauce» in an attempt to mask the poor quality.

We love Los Compadres!!! The food is always great and very authentic! The service is outstanding but the Sunday buffet is worth a special trip. We’ll be back for sure.

Fantastic! Don’t know what else to say. Travel a lot and love Mexican food so experience it all over the U.S. This is way up there as the most creative and delicious we’ve ever had. Service impeccable as well.

Driving through we stopped for a late lunch. The restaurant is decorated very nicely. The food was so-so. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything to write home about either. The chips were not made on the premises but the salsa was tasty.

We were there April 232015. Service was real slow. The pitcher of margaritas took 25 minutes to get. our waitress had to go make it. Every employee walked by our table and never cleared the 4 dirty plates we had pushed to the edge. Tacquito/Flautas dinner thing I ordered was burnt on all edges at least an inch and the rice and beans had NO flavor and was barely warm. The stable side guac was the only good thing they did. Overall if you want a basic Mexican restaurant that is just ‘okay”. I guess this will do. You want better food. go across the street to El Moline.

On our way through Lebanon we stopped by this restaurant and had a great experience! Staff was great and the food was perfect. Rice wasn’t over seasoned, as is the usual case with Mexican rice, and the entrée was prepared in a healthy way, not buttered or salty. We are a family that tries to eat healthy and this restaurant provided a healthy approach to Mexican food. Oh and the prices were cheap!!!

This is one of those restaurants that if I could give 3 ½ stars I would. It is not good enough for 4 stars… but slightly better than 3 stars. When I go to a Mexican restaurant I evaluate it on 3 things. Chips, salsa and their beef burrito. Again, each of these were good… but not great.

I love this Mexican restaurant. I’ve had better in Nashville but this ain’t nashville and it wasn’t nashville prices so. The atmosphere inside is awesome! Very cool. It’s also very large, I don’t think I’ve been in a nicer looking Mexican restaurant. I love this chicken fajitas and usually the guacamole is good, they make table side guacamole. Once is was horrible. It depends on the server. If you order to-go I suggest checking your order first as they forget things sometimes. Every time I get good flavor and I’ve never had a bad meal.:)

Before I review, please note that we only got our food to-go and did not dine in the actual restaurant. This place was a short walk from the Pilot Travel Center. We always start off with guacamole, salsa and chips. It’s an absolute staple for us with Mexican food. I’m sad to report that the guacamole was tasteless. No tomatoes, few onions and no lemon or lime juice. The salsa tasted like it was dumped straight from a bottle of Pace Picante sauce. My husband ordered his regular of «Chile Rellenos» and as he was starving, asked the server if it was a large portion to which he responded, «yes». It was not. He was left hungry. He did, however, say that it was delicious. I ordered the«carne asada tacos» and a steak quesadilla with rice and beans. The tacos were phenomenal, if not lacking in quantity of meat. The quesadilla was the best part about the whole meal. Stuffed full of peppers, meat and cheese on a freshly grilled tortilla. Overall, it was decent and it definitely filled my Mexican cravings but how in the heck do you mess up guacamole? Fix this and we’ll be back.
