New management took over at the beginning of 2014. Before they took over I had a 3 bd town home for $ 610 a mn. They jacked the cost to $ 725 of I sign a lease! After I moved out(which I had 30 days to leave which is very difficult to find a place in 30 days) they sent me a bill of every day normal wear and tear items they charged out of my deposit from the previous management. $ 7 for 1 light bulb. $ 15 for blinds they gave me but I left there and didn’t install them. $$ for dirt all over the apartment which was BS I cleaned the place even steam cleaned the carpets before I left. I have 2 pages of things they charged me for after leaving. Don’t rent here. Spread the word that these people are crooks — My neighbor’d ceiling had fallen through before of water leak. these apartments should be condemned .

I have seen all the reviews on this complex that was posted on Apartment Reviews and almost every post was negative. There were numerous posts about bed bugs and other pest infestations and re infestations, items not getting repaired, and lack of response from management and maintenance. I would of hoped these items would be resolved with another recent change in management. No such luck with courtesy, respect, response, and knowledge. The management, particular Scott was unknowledgeable, disrespectful, and rude. My experience seemed discriminatory. I am on disability and a low fixed income and was told I should be able to get the apartment in the first or second week of July 2014. Instead I was asked to return several times after providing a deposit, and all the paperwork. Then Scott seemingly forgot another piece of paperwork. This would be my 3rd or 4th visit back to fill out or provide paperwork. Then I was told I would not be granted an apartment after almost a month of paperwork and running back and fourth because I had over 5k in my non interest earning checking account. I told them these funds were a lump sum payment for the 6 months it took to process my disability when I was not getting anything but ssi of approx. $ 400 a month. And that I rented a very cheap apartment for 3 years, didn’t go many places and spend money unnecessarily. So I saved my money. Now Hunters Run is penalizing me for getting my overdue lump sum and saving it and refusing to rent me the apartment they told me I would get. This sounds like discrimination to me. If you save your money you worked all your life for, then have to go on disability then your penalized for saving those funds, being responsible, and living within your means is discrimination. I was perplexed. In fact Scott hung up on me twice. He wouldn’t tell me who owned the complex, I had to research on my own. The second time he shouted«CALLYOURATTORNEY!» and immediately hung up. It was very rude, disrespectful, and unacceptable. Other than the complaints for the bed bug infestations, I wouldn’t recommend this complex due to the rudeness, lack of knowledge, and disrespect from this staff member named Scott. Renter beware and read all the reviews. I have contacted the Ohio Human Rights Division and I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. STAYCLEAROFHUNTERSRUN.
