Love this place. I have stopped in twice this ski season on my way from Philadelphia to the Catskills and Vermont. Both times was after work on a Friday night and both times they waxed my skis while I waited. Just incredibly friendly and helpful service. I will be back any time I need my skis tuned heading up to ski on a weekend.

The folks at Hunterdon Ski & Snowboard are just plain great to deal with…
They are all very knowledgeable on their selection of equipment and their main goal is to HELP you, not Sell you. That makes a world of difference, when compared to some of the bigger franchises who have monkeys trying to upsell you on everything you tell them.
The selection of ski gear is great (don’t know about boards, I am a skier only) and it comes from cool ski companies like Fischer, Élan, Dynastar, Icelantic and Scott. Not all the big names (Atomic, Salomon, Rossignol) like at the bigger stores. Good prices on stuff, too. Similar to what you’d pay at a larger store, where the staff don’t know half as much.
The people working at HS&S are more down-​to-​earth and listen to what you say, then try to find a solution, even if it’s not the biggest money-​maker. They want you happy, so then you’ll come back. I know I will. I drove extra miles to go to their shop specifically. And I would do it again.
