Gymboree Outlet

Let me just start by saying that I looove all Gymboree products and had been shopping Gymboree clothes since I had kids of my own who are 5 y/​o and and 7 mos old. I even shop there for my nieces and nephews, friends’ kids during Christmas and their bday. So today early in the morning we went to this particular store at the premium outlets of lebanon Bc I know that the entire store is doing a 50% off sale. One thing I like about this store is that it’s close to where I live which is right in the heart of Lebanon. As I with my infant in tow in a stroller and my 5 y/​o son entered the store we were not even greeted by the sales associate. It’s early in the morning and we’re the only customer inside so there’s no excuse for that. The associate kept her head down behind the counter the whole time that I was shopping for clothes. No greeting, no offer for help or a bag to put the clothes I selected or any mention of anything special going on with the sale at all. I can understand if the store is jam packed with customers but we’re the only people inside. When I was done shopping and stood in front of the counter with my 2 kids our presence we’re still not acknowledged. She merely looked at me to take the things I was paying for and slammed the hangers in front of me and my kids! I admit my 5 y/​o was already getting out of control but I was handling him. Is this really a store that sells children’s clothes and pretend that they care for our kids? She asked if I had a rewards card and I said yes of course I shop at Gymboree all the time. She was asking for the card and I said I can just give you my number. And she replied well enter it in the keypad! Ok? Should I know that at the back of my brain everytime I shop there. Lady I need you to walk me through it! How rude! I’ve never been treated like this in my entire life and for my kids to witness it was beyond me! This is not a high end store it’s an outlet store that sells children’s clothes. I can understand the attitude if she’s selling Chanel, Louis Vuitton or prada merchandise but it’s Gymboree for goodness sake! So to DESIREE who is the rudest sales associate I’ve ever encountered I wish you will no longer be there the next time I come back to redeem my gym bucks. Honey you need to work at the back of the store stocking clothes you can’t be at the front I wish not to see your disgruntled face in any store ever again! And to the district manager: ever wonder why you’re not meeting the quota sales you need at this particular store and theres no traffic all the time? Maybe it has to do with a sales associate named DESIREE!
