Your Best Nest

Let’s start off with a cliché — I would give Your Best Nest 6 stars if I could. Whatever the highest number of stars is, this professional home organizer would get one more. She goes to 11 if you know what I mean!
My story involves a spare bedroom that had become cluttered over the years. It was an unusable room with little piles of junk everywhere. Every time I had to walk into it to retrieve something I felt overwhelmed because the space had no purpose. I have a small home and hated the fact that I wasn’t using my square footage wisely.
The owner of Your Best Nest KC is a really fun and bright woman named Annabelle. She came over for a personal organizing consultation and immediately expressed her organizational philosophy to me. She told me that she had undergone cancer treatments and that while looking around her home when she was recovering, realized that uncluttered and beautiful homes can bring about a peaceful mind. She said something like, «If you walk by something ugly in your home and every time you do you shudder, you don’t think it’s a big deal. But multiply that by 10 times a day and 7 days a week, and suddenly you are subconciously generating a lot of negativity because of it.» Her philosophy clicked with me – the little things DO matter!
Within 2 days Annabelle had emailed me an extemely organized list of things to do to prepare for our next meeting. I was never wondering, «Is Annabelle going to call? What should I be doing?» She spelled everything out and I had a checklist that I was responsible for. She also does personal shopping in her hourly rate, so I had her purchase some items for me that I didn’t have time to research or buy. Her taste is truly classy. She spent my money so well and I was super impressed with her personal shopping treasures. Her dynamic organization and timely communication skills were spongeworthy indeed.
I’ll spare you all the details, but I had to let some old crap go! Annabelle was a consummate professional and knew her business– She never threw away or donated anything without asking my permission first. She doesn’t just organize, declutter and decorate — she truly has vision!
So needless to say, I can’t recommend Annabelle as someone who can space-​lift, organize, decorate, and inspire nearly enough. She decluttered that little bedroom and now it’s a craft and sewing room that I am PROUD of and love to spend hours in. It’s a cliché but Your Best Nest KC is a dream come true.

The owner, Annabelle, was wonderful to work with. She was extremely professional and prompt on her return phone calls with us! She did an incredible job organizing our house before we put it on the market. I needed all of the help I could get and she delivered on it! I will be calling again!
