What a fun stop when you need a treat! My kids love this place. The owner is the most friendly person and encourages the kids(and adults) to sample along the way. We purchased several small portions to keep the budget in check but also get some great treats to enjoy. Dark chocolate sea salt caramels, red licorice scottie dogs, and cherry sours were all a huge hit. We also picked up some chocolate covered Oreos for the teachers and grandparents and they loved them too. We need to support our local businesses and this is a tasty way to do it!

Our son was having a Royals themed birthday and Deb went to the trouble of sorting out all the blue and white candies for us. Support our local businesses whenever you can especially those with great customer service.

Sorry, but the prices are way too high for me to ever go back. $ 16/lb for pistachios? Get real.

This is a super fun little shop with several unique and hard to find options. My only complaint is that I wish they had a $ 1 spot, so I could take my children(all 4 of them!) in for an affordable and fun trip to the candy store and have $ left for a treat for mom and dad! The current structure of pre-bagged $ 4 – 5 bags of kid candy is cost prohibitive for a family outing. My little peeps only need a handful, anyway! On the bright side, I have asked to have something repackaged for a smaller portion, and they were willing. It just resulted in unnecessary hassle for everyone!

I bought macadamia nuts and dried fruit(no sugar) for a paleo recipe. It came out delicious? They have a nut club that I’m 50% of the way to a credit, so I’ll probably hit that mark in the next month. There is a large selection of fruits, nuts, candies, and gifts, so there is something for everyone. The staff is helpful and can tell you where everything is, which is nice when you’re new. This is a good place to buy the men in your life a gift, or the decadent chocolates for a woman.

We B Nuts has an amazing and unique selection of chocolates and candy. I bought treats for my plane ride back to Houston. I look forward to coming back to buy more!

Went in yesterday for the first time. From the moment you walk in the staff is very friendly and very willing to offer samples, but they didn’t go overboard with pestering you. I remember as a kid having several local candy stores that I’d always ride my bike to to satisfy my huge sweet tooth, but the majority of the good candy stores have disappeared. I really hope this place makes it. They have a great variety of savory and sweet treats. It’s definitely more geared towards the chocolate/nuts than sweet/gummy candies. I picked up some licorice caramels for my father since he loves licorice. I sampled them in the store and they were definitely delicious if you like licorice and caramel. I got myself some dark chocolate blueberries, dark chocolate ginger, and dried mango slices. It’s all delicious. It’s nice to be able to get some big slices of dried mango opposed to the tiny pieces you get in grocery store dried fruit. However, I would like to see a little less sugar in the dried fruit. The dark chocolate ginger is absolutely addicting. Yeah, the stuff isn’t cheap, but good candy stores never have been cheap. I’m willing to spend a little more for a local candy store opposed to buying brand name candy in the grocery store. The mango came out to about $ 6.70/lb, the dark chocolate ginger was ~$ 9.80/lb, the dark chocolate blueberries was ~$ 12.60/lb, and the licorice caramels was ~$ 12.00/lb. Some of the stuff is prepackaged, but a lot is bulk so you can buy as much or as little as you like. If you don’t go crazy you can easily get a ¼ lb here and a ½ lb there and not spend a fortune. Moderation people! I can’t wait to go back and try some more stuff. Next time I’ll be going after the variety of pistachios they have. FYI, there was a $ 2 off coupon in the valupak of coupons that you always get in the mail. Please give the place a try and keep this place in business!

Love this shop– colorful décor with natural wood. Its super clean and nice bathrooms too. I stopped in with my daughter and boyfriend. The staff was so friendly. We tried samples of flavored pistachios, trail mix, yogurt covered fruit, chocolate covered coffee beans. They really got a sense for what I like and offered excellent selections. They even had some old school throw backs like bubble gum cigars and gummy bears. All types of caramels just an extensive selection of sweet, salty, and savory. I will definitely go back. I bought almost everything I sampled.

I took my family visiting from out of town here over the weekend and enjoyed checking out the unusual candies and nuts. The owners are young and this place is fun and hip. Candy and nuts are super fresh and reasonably priced. They have some great ideas for Mother’s Day and Graduation-Prom, go check them out and support your local new small business in Leawood!

cute place! the staff is very friendly and enthusiastic and willing to offer samples to try anything they have in bulk. I grabbed a few movie snacks in here last week. the chocolate clodhoppers(I think that’s what they were called — basically chocolate and graham cracker), red licorice and the cornies(again, don’t remember what they were called exactly but they’re a less-salty and artificial version of cornnuts) the snacks and nuts aren’t cheap(more than $ 8 for 1⁄3 to ½ lb for each) but they are tasty!(the clodhoppers and cornies are REALLY addicting) can tell the people working in there are knowledgeable about their products and it’s always good to support a local business.

This shop is nice and so were the staff. But I’ve been spoiled by a similar family-owned business in Wichita, KS called Nifty Nut House for many years. This shop only reminded me of a Nifty wannabe. The selection was far smaller and pricier. Nifty roasts their own nuts in house and sends their own product to a local chocolatier for candy making. I was disappointed in the prices and in the reduced selection of items(no raw pine nuts, very few raw nuts, etc.) On the one hand, it’s nice to have a shop like this close in KC. On the other hand, you can order online and have Nifty ship their goods to your door. So even with the cost of shipping, I will pay less for a fresher, better product. Sorry We B Nuts, but I won’t be back.

This is a cool little candy and nut shop that is located in the old Pumpernick/Cupini’s location at 95th and mission. The shop offers a plethora of nut mixes, candied nuts, chocolates and candies. It reminds me of a place called Nuts on Clark in Chicago that i always stop into when I’m in Chicago to stock up my briefcase stash of high quality trail mix. The owner is very patient and helpful in offering samples and assisting you in making your selection. It also looks like she makes gift baskets for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, etc. We Unilocalers are known for our support of local businesses so this will be my new place for gift baskets and for stocking up my office and briefcase stash so that i don’t starve while sitting in a marathon business meeting!
