This place is great. I booked my mom here for a color and trim with Brenna and my mom loved it. Said it’s the 1st time she finally got the exact color she wanted her hair to be. And I also ended up coming here after another hairstylist ruined my hair. Brenna did the most amazing color correction ever without damaging my hair, spent 2.5 hours perfecting the color. She’s AMAZING. Thank you Brenna!
Oh and Lisa for gel manicure. Hands down the best manicurist I’ve been to in KC. Thank you Lisa!
Staff is awesome and the place is beautifully designed. Not to mention it’s 2 minutes from where I live so convenience is perfect :)

I absolutely love Brenna!!! She has been doing my cuts, color and eyebrows now for about six months or so. She knows exactly what to do when I describe what I would like my cut and color to be and she’s very personable, which I love. I never feel rushed there. The staff is always very helpful and polite when I walk in the door. They always offer you something to drink first thing and as long as your on time you don’t wait longer than 2−3min, just enough time for them to notify the stylist. Again, if your looking for someone amazing, go to Brenna!!! She’s a diamond in the ruff.

I also followed Michael T. to his new salon — Mystique and am very happy. I love the private space and feel much better taken care of.
My last interaction with Salon One 19 wasn’t great. They had called with a reminder for an appt. I’d never made. I know that can happen, but 2 weeks later when I did make an appointment, it never got placed in his book. When I showed up, he was totally unaware. The Salon owner could have cared less and blamed the stylists for taking vacations. It was truly odd.
I am happy Michael is elsewhere.

I’ve enjoyed my appointments here at Salon One 19, however my favorite hair stylist, Michael, is moving to another location. I know many of you actually went to him after reading my review, so cool. He appreciated the business.
Now Salon One 19 has plenty of other stylist who could probably do a great job. I don’t want to knock them. I’m just more loyal to my hair stylist than I am to a salon.
I just wanted to post an update that Michael will be over at Mystique Salon now. I’ll be sure to post a review as soon as I visit this Friday.

I was introduced to this salon through Groupon. An amazing deal for highlights, deep conditioning, cut and color for less than $ 100! My stylist was Michael and besides clicking like we were long lost friends he is an ASTOUNDING stylist! Listened to what I was looking for, helped me tweak the ideas and the result was amazing! I am going back to do it all again tomorrow.

I immediately loved the salon when I entered it! My appointment with Christoper was in a private studio within the salon. He took the time to listen to the changes I wanted to make to my hair, then made suggestions based on my explanation. My consultation the day before was free and made me feel very comfortable with his knowledge. I would highly recommed Christopher and Salon One 19.
