KC Running & Sports Medicine Store

Excellent customer service. Needed a replacement shoulder immobilizer as the one we got from the dr only lasted a few weeks. They had one in stock at half the price of the Drs office. They have all kinds of braces at reasonable prices. Will be back for shoes, etc!

These guys are great. They know their stuff in regards to running and fitness. The prices are comparable to other specialty running stores in KC. Plus it’s a locally owned store so you are helping your community.
A big plus — Sunday Runday! A free running clinic every Sunday with a ton of like minded runners. They set up a course and water. they give in store discounts those days too.

I have only visited this store once since they opened last year but that is only because I live so far away from it. However, I got a good look at the place and am connected with them on Facebook so I think I can do them justice…
What really struck me about the place is the selection of sports medicine/​rehab supplies that they had — things I had never seen in a running store before, such as leukotape (the tape that allowed me to get back into running in the first place!). Guess what they also have… A treadmill where you can be recorded for a gait analysis! Honestly, any serious running store should have this since there’s nothing quite like seeing your running form in slow motion and having an experienced runner analyze it.
They offer tons of free group runs with course support and aid stations and although I live a bit far away and I am more a lone wolf I would highly recommend them to anyone new to running or looking for other people to run with.
Now…just waiting for a Midtown location to open up next door to home!

I try to support small business, I went in to the store and ask someone about different running shoes, the sales person wasn’t helpful and I went to another place and got my answers Several times I have gone in and didn’t feel welcome.
