I’ve spent many hours at the old Hathaway shoes on Wornell. I was shocked when I heard it closed. Nearly every pair of shoes I’ve bought is from this store. The shoes have straightened up my arch, and corrected a pesty bought of plantar’s fasicitis. I’ve noticed I can buy Danskos at places, such as Nordstrom’s, and Tradehome. I can also buy MBT’s other places. But, it was nice getting the shoes at all one location, and they also carried Vera Bradley. I enjoyed Hathaway Shoes. I went to Jill Hathaway’s Shoes Boutique in Park Place this morning. It is a small fashion shoe store, with a limited quality. I asked her about a pair I always wear, El Naturalistas. She carries the colors, red, turquoise, and natural colors. She has a selection of casual and fashionable sandals, all European brands. I like this little shop. It is admirable, with neutral lighting. The shoes sit 2 – 3 to a shelf, and there’s approximately 20 shelves. It seems to be very exclusive. I saw some sandals I liked. I didn’t price them(dumb me). This is one of the few locations to carry El Naturalistas. Not the most becoming shoes, but they are cute, and feel comfortable. Jill also had a few belts, 3 – 4. A couple of handbags, and a wrack of trouser socks, are towards the back of the store. Most of the shoe styles were to be worn for either dressy work, or dressing up. I’d give this 5 stars, but, dang, the location isn’t close at all. It’s quite a drive to get there. It smells like Cupcakes, due to it being next to Cupcake Alamode.
