I have never stepped foot in an Anthropologie, and as a 30 year old straight dude, I am not their target demographic. However, this place is pretty cool, and I’ve come back and will continue to come back. I wasn’t sure what to expect from Anthropologie, but this wasn’t it. I though that maybe it was a woman’s close store? That’s partly true… but it’s also about 100 additional things. Candles, dishes and glassware, jewelry, random crap(in the best definition of the word«crap») for every corner of you and your house. They have a lot of stuff, but the store is still airy and bright. People are friendly. I recently purchased my wife a necklace here and it was pretty neat, definitely something unlike any other necklace I had seen before. She liked it a lot… or at least she pretended to ;)

This place is my special spot where I can go and wander for hours. The staff is always friendly, peppy and very knowledgeable about inventory. I’ve been able to purchase items over the phone and have my mom pick it up in the store to avoid the $ 15.95 S&H for ordering online(bit ridiculous). This place is an awesome store for unique gifts for friends and family. Yes the stuff is a bit pricey but it’s important to note that there a great range of items for any price point! Highly recommend this anthro store but just in general, all anthros are amazing ;-)

I love this place! The clothes are fun and unusual and, more importantly, the staff treat you like a guest! I’ve only shopped here a few times, but each time I’m impressed!

I love the doors. Talk about first impressions. They have those big olé heavy wooden numbers and without windows. I feel a little like I am entering a fairy tale land. The layout. It is really nice and open and feels more like a home than a retail store, with rooms, but less obvious racks. I was quite excited the last time I shopped as I had let my birthday coupon expire by accident and the sales gal let me use it anyway! She also pointed out a small gray smudge on the dress I was buying(hanger dust) and gave me and additional 20% off. The only complaint I have is the area where they keep the sale items. I understand what they are going for there in pushing full-priced merch first, but not only is it hard to find, tucked away in the corner, it is extremely small and almost impossible to shop. Forget it if someone else is already in there. Not even enough room to pass by each other in the tiny circular set up. Quite the opposite of the large racks they set out at the Plaza location. Don’t get me wrong, those are hard to pass by other shoppers too, but the ratio of space between full-priced and sale merch is a little more even. With Leawood, you go from being able to cartwheel past the(full priced) clothes to reminiscing about your first apartment(sale dungeon).

Ah, my favorite store… Every couple of months, I let loose and buy way too much stuff from this place. Anthro has such a wide range in clothing — anything from bohemian to work appropriate to a great jeans selection. And of course, who can forget their furniture and housewares? They always have great sales going on so I would recommend not wait and not buy the item at full price because Anthropologie always discounts their items after 3 months of them being on the floor.

I would take up residence in Anthropologie if I could, and this one is so much larger than the one I had in San Diego! Huge selection, love everything. I hardly noticed the staff at all, so I don’t have anything positive or negative to say about the service. I will definitely be back for some retail therapy in the future. If you want to look like a million bucks at a reasonable price for the quality, this is the place to be.

Really amazing store. Lots of clothing and home décor. The prices are really steep… Go here if you are looking for unique items for your home such as blankets, rugs, dishes, chairs, perfumes, ect.

As far as the style of the interior, it is one of the best looking Anthropologie stores. The location is a no-brainer and it will do well at Town Center. I am a fan of about 70% of the clothes, the other 30% is a little hippie or just plain unattractive. I never shop in the home area, not really my style. What I do love is that they carry brands and styles that you will not see in other stores and that makes it worth the dig. Opening night seemed a little bare. I am used to racks and racks of goods on the Plaza and in other cities. Not sure if they are going to carry less merch or they had not got all their inventory in store. Looks like it is time for another visit. Thanks for opening one more area store Anthro!
