First time at the Depot. Fantastic experience from the staff, menu selection, and the quality of the food. We had breakfast on Sunday morning and was seated immediately. Outstanding atmosphere and the smell of history. We will definitely return next time we pass through. Well done

First time to The Depot was excellent! We waited for about 15 minutes for a table since we arrived during a busy time (I learned that you can call ahead for reservations) but it was well worth the wait!
I had the smoked chicken and sweet potato hash with chipotle hollandaise (amazing — I almost dug in before taking a pic); my daughter devoured her breakfast combination platter with eggs, bacon, hash browns and biscuits with gravy. My husband enthusiastically endorsed the home made corned beef found in his «Tiny’s» rueben. Finally, my son, the picky eater, found the chicken tenders to be «fantastic».
Thanks to Unilocal reviewers, we ordered a cinnamon roll to eat there, and one to go. Best move ever.
Go to The Depot for an excellent breakfast or lunch and expect deliciousness. As an added bonus, the waitstaff is also prompt, kind, and genuine.

Most expensive breakfast in Leavenworth.
The hostess is very nice, but the wait staff are a bit odd.
The Depot bought out Santa Fe Diner which had the best Monday breakfast deal in town where you could take all of your family or coworkers and fill up for a great price.
The food at The Depot is not too bad. It seems to be highly salted and low in quantity.
This is certainly not your best value in town.

I am really happy this restaurant is right down the street from our business. It gives us the chance to eat there every week. We have tried many menu items and our favorites are the eggs benedict with thick sliced ham and awesome sauce! The chicken and waffles are great! The chicken is nicely seasoned and crispy and the waffles are flavorful, too! The burgers are really nice-​good beef, juicy and well prepared. The pulled pork is awesome, too, with the slaw on top and superb BBQ sauce. They have a nice kids menu, too! I have yet to be disappointed. Give them a try, OK?

Customer service is great. Previously read a few of the comments and looked at the pictures before going. Did not see either the enchiladas or the pasta on the menu that was provided, one of the reasons for going. I ended up ordering the chicken fried steak… it was okay but the ends were way over cooked along with the green beans. The meal was okay… not the best ever.

Great breakfast! One of the best breakfast places in Leavenworth. Service is excellent and the food very, very good. I have not eaten lunch yet but my wife has and says it is excellent. They have restored the old Santa Fe train depot which was a little run down under the old management. It is now great historical building.

Another great meal for the books and the staff is wonderful, from the owner to the cook! I am a fan of the turkey club but my son had chicken fingers and fries that were delicious. Lastly if you like brussel sprouts they are a must order with any meal.

Since it opened, this has become our favorite breakfast place in Leavenworth. The location is an old train depot, and embraces its roots, making it a beautiful setting. The service and food were both great as well.

The building is actually the old Leavenworth Depot. Great restaurant, very good lunch nicely presented and friendly, fast service. Be sure to stop in.

It’s Saturday morning and you want some breakfast. First this place opens early, 6am. The food took me back to greasy spoon diners seldom still in business. The hash browns were crispy and well prepared. Sausage and bacon pretty standard. The biscuits and gravy are so good. BEST I’ve ever had. The biscuit was fluffy. The gravy though made a huge difference. Not your regular powder bland gravy, but flavorful sausage gravy. They offer mini apple flavored muffins which were good too. Only critique is cold coffee. Service is decent, family run place.

Now known as the depot. The food was absolutely fantastic but the low rating is because the wait staff were horrid. Rude, late, disorganized and seemingly untrained. They brought out cold food after over an hour of waiting, we didn’t get drinks until after 30 minutes of waiting, the entire experience was ridiculous. But again, the actual food, even cold, was fantastic.
