Pullmans is one of our favorite places to eat– they have good food, huge servings, at reasonable prices. Service is great and it is very clean.

We have been eating at Pullmans for years and the service is always good. It is nice to see the same staff and see a smile from Deena and the gang! I like the grilled chicken sandwich and the vics chicken but the breakfast is the best! They have biscuits and gravy, eggs and bacon (the bacon is getting thinner) and the waffles are crisp and hot. The kids and adults alike sit at the train table and the décor is nice for a family meal that is not costly, come on down!

We went back after a few months and I firmly believe our May lunch was a fluke. Lunch today was amazing. Seating was fast (we even got a room to ourselves), the server was knowledgeable and helpful with our question, and the food came out in a timely manner. Last but not least, the food was great! We will definitely be coming back. Glad we gave it a second try!

What? So if you’re too tired to microwave a frozen meal and rip open a bag of packaged lettuce I guess this will do but why pay for food you could make at home better? Reminds me of stuff my mom would cook and I wouldn’t eat… Course I used to be thinner then…

Walked into the place. Smell of good food filled the air. I was sat down promptly. Server was great and patient. Too many good food items too choose from. Ordered the biscuits and gravy plate wth a side of two eggs. Devoured them in five mins. Very full haha. I wish the server would of mentioned the special for today. Almost the same meal i ordered for about three dollars cheaper. Overall, great place, great atmosphere. Will be coming back if i stop by leavenworth.

My sister Jan joined my wife and I for lunch. While reminiscing about our days growing up in Leavenworth back in the 60’s. We went to the Pullman restaurant. We were there at lunch time. The restaurant was busy. We were told about 15 minutes. It was right at 15 minutes later that we sat down for lunch. Jan and I had the Asian slaw and pulled pork sandwich. I had the homemade chips, Jan had the same sandwich I did but she had the sweet potato fries. My wife had the Chicken fried steak. All three of our meals were Fantastic.
The atmosphere was great! The staff was fantastic. We will be back very soon. The price for my sandwich and my wife’s chicken fried steak and our drinks was still under twenty dollars. We will be going back. Love this.

Great comfort food. Clean restaurant and AMAZING music. The oldies music makes me feel like I’m in a mobster diner (which is good). Overall a classy place… i intend to visit this place many times ;-)

My family is new in town and we decided to check this place out due to all the reviews.
Wife and I both really enjoyed our food. My wife had smothered chicken both times and I had chicken fried chicken and Vic’s chicken. All of it was great to include sides (mashed potatoes, corn, fries, mixed veggies). We both had the potato soup both times, it’s really good! We both had sweet tea and its on point!
The waitress was very attentive and drinks were always full. Food was served fast. Atmosphere is great, it’s a train theme. Music is golden oldies. It’s a nice change compared to your typical chain restaurant and we love it. If you are in town this really is a must stop for eating. Can’t wait to try breakfast and we will definitely be return customers. No complaints!

American style home cooked meals. I’ve eaten here a dozen times. What they do, they do very well. This place is always busy for breakfast and I most frequently come for brunch. My young kid loves the train memorabilia and if we are lucky we get to sit at the glass topped model train table. The wait staff is always very courteous and the cooks are very good with making the hash browns and bacon crispy when I ask for it. We have also requested no salt and are impressed with their care and attentiveness. There is a large back room if you need to sit a group, class or office for a meal. If you like local this is a great spot in the heart of downtown.

If you’re stopping in Leavenworth, KS I would recommend stopping in Pullman Place! Down home cooking that will make you feel welcome. They have everything from soup, salads, and sandwiches to steak and seafood. Not to mention an awesome breakfast menu. Service was friendly and attentive, drinks never went empty and our very fresh salads were out first. Multiple servers and the manager stopped to make sure everything was perfect.
I had a burger with an egg on it and it was very good. The only thing I could say was my egg was over cooked so if you like your yolk runny make sure you specify! My husband had the 10oz sirloin, so BIG and cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes and gravy were off the chain and green beans. Also had fried catfish and smothered chop steak at out table. Great reviews on those items as well.

My husband and I came here Friday February 27. Our waiter Nick was adorable! The food was amazing but I ordered the lemon chicken and the menu said it came with a warm roll but I did not receive one. Nevertheless, very tasty, good service, will definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of dining her last night with my family. We had a large group and got the back room which was perfect and private. The staff is very friendly and they took good care of us. Food came out surprising fast even with our large group. I had soup and salad and the other food looked delicious. Let’s just say I didn’t see any leftovers! No alcohol served here.

We were in Leavenworth for three days. Went here for breakfast twice — the first time was so good that it became the obvious choice for on the way out of town.
Excellent service. Really excellent service.
Great pancakes. Great waffles. Perfectly cooked eggs. Great bacon.
Sausage gravy was kind of light on sausage (very common these days) but delicious.
Hash browns were good, not great, probably frozen.
Coffee was very good.
If I lived in Leavenworth this would be my go to place for breakfast.

Great breakfasts and pretty good lunches and dinners. I don’t come here enough! The quality of the food is pretty solid and the service is always very good. There are daily specials as well. If you are expecting a gourmand experience then Pullman’s isn’t for you.
Pullman Place is a good, family run alternative to iHOP or fast food. It’s reasonably priced and a very pleasant atmosphere. The food isn’t exactly «homemade» tasting which is fine. I like their eggs with corned beef hash but I suspect the hash comes from a can.
I like the train theme and while I’d now consider myself to be a «local» I haven’t noticed too much discrimination between locals and visitors as might occur in other restaurants. So it’s definitely worth a visit!
