Great service tonight, very friendly and interested! The Dirty Face pizza was really good, and a tasty IPA on tap. We felt very welcome amongst the locals here.

When our usual standby changed ownership and went slightly downhill, we decided to give Headwaters another try. I went last summer and had a French dip — crusty hoagie roll, piled with deli beef (not real roast beef) and served with a salty side of au jus and some fries. I believe I started with a green salad — you know, the usual bagged iceberg blend. Slightly wilty, nothing remarkable. Pizza was good.
This last weekend, we decided to head back. Same servers as last year — no complaints about service, it’s fast and friendly and they really work as a team. The menu is typical selection of fried appies, sandwiches/​burgers, and pizza. Pizza is definitely their specialty and it is loaded with cheese and toppings. I had a clubhouse which was their special. Two kinds of cheese, 3 kinds of meat (deli ham, deli turkey, and bacon — the microwaveable kind) and a mound of tater tots. Didn’t really help me with my food choices (I’m on WW) but hey, ya gotta splurge once in awhile.
