We first heard of this place today and were excited to try a new restaurant in town. We started with mandarin tea which was weak watery and flavorless. They should try steeping the tea bag a few minutes more. I had the beet quiche with the burned crust with a tiny salad and my husband had the ham sandwich which was NOT as described! This was the smallest portioned food in town and the highest priced. We were not offered a fresh drink but were reprimanded for even questioning it’s weakness. The table next to us wanted hot water for their tea and the waitress gave them such a dirty look, I didn’t want to complain about anything else. We tried the hideous grapefruit ice cream and left hungry and disappointed for our $ 35.00 lunch. No sense in complaining to the boss, as small portions and high prices seem to be the order of the day and my hubby was afraid she would cut me!

My wife and I decided to try this place after walking by it the night before. I was drawn to it because it is one of the few non-Sushi places in the area that you can get Ahi Tuna. The atmosphere was warm and very welcoming. It is the nicest restaurant in Leavenworth we’ve been too in terms of ambiance. It is one of the few worthy of a date night. We brought our infant along and they had a high chair waiting at our table. They had a live guitarist playing very good music which added to the atmosphere. Their dinner menu is limited but good. I had the Ahi Tuna, my wife had a special that included mussels and prime rib. Both were delicious. We finished the night with chocolate cheese cake and olive oil ice cream, which I as skeptical of but it tasted great. Throughout the evening we spoke with the owner, the head chef and the man who makes the deserts. They are friendly and engaging. We are definitely going to go back for dinner someday. The restaurant only hosts dinner on Friday and Saturday nights but also has lunch Monday through Saturday and hosts special events and cooking classes from time to time. It is also an olive oil and vinegar store with many varieties to try and choose from. Overall, this was a great experience where we felt welcome. If you are looking for a little more upscale place in Leavenworth and good food, this is the place to go.

Arguably the best food in Leavenworth. Atmosphere is awesome, servers are knowledgable about the various menu items and oils/vinegars. I’ve had dinner a couple of times here– I had the sesame crusted ahi and stuffed chicken– both amazing dishes, and i recommend the duck tacos for appetizer. They offer a large dessert menu too. I personally love the cheesecake, but the Nutella bread pudding was outstanding also. Highly recommend– they recently opened for dinner every fri and sat. No more having to drive 35 mins for a nice dinner

I went here for lunch with my wife and my mother in law and I was pleasantly surprised. There was plenty of street parking as well as a free public lot across the street that looked basically empty. My mother in law and I both ordered the German sausage special platter(15 bucks) that came with potato salad and greens. The sausages are made fresh in the kitchen and they were very moist/flavorful. Everything on the plate was delicious to include the two different types of mustard(spicy and Dijon). I also ordered a cup of corn chowder that was made completely from scratch and included fresh vegetables, cheese, and huge chunks of bacon. Did I mention it had bacon in it? My wife ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with bacon, butternut squash, and caramelized onions… wow. I had a bite of hers and it was amazing. They don’t have a liquor license yet so they only had tea and water which really wasn’t an issue for us. My wife and mother in law loved the tea(which is brought in from the Queen’s Pantry up the street). Finally, we had a bit of a sweet tooth so we ordered some ice cream to wrap it all up. Instead of deciding ourselves we let the waitress order what she thought was best. Let me tell you something… I have never in my life thought to put vinegar on ice cream but wow was it fun. The waiter and the owner both came to the table to explain what everything was and even helped us pour the various flavors onto the ice cream. The total for all three of us was 60 bucks and change. Overall I found this place to be very clean, friendly, and endearing. Super, super friendly and a really fun option in a town with very little options. Definitely recommend it for lunch.

Wonderful café located in the back of this great Oil & Vinegar shop. The ladies are friendly from the moment you walk through the door. Make sure and order the loaf of warm crusty bread, the ladies make up some delicious oil and vinegar combos to try with it. The regular menu is delicious but the specials are amazing as well. To end the visit make sure you try the fabulous ice cream made with Olive Oil. It is amazing and let them top it with the different vinegars, unlike anything I have ever tried. Over all a gem in Leavenworth!

Lovely café style lunch options for a low key weekend. I had the Fig & Gruyère Quiche, Carrot Coconut Soup, and Peach Iced Tea. All delicious, and all very obviously fresh. The quiche was light and delicate with a flaky buttery crust, the soup was creamy and perfectly spiced, and the iced tea had a nice flavor with no sweetener or syrup.
