The Haven At South Shore Apt

Pretty apartments.
Close to the water.

I do hope that this is beneficial to someone who is an active adult over 55 years old. Back in 2000 we were forced to leave our home for a period of time. At that time we had seven cats. The apartment complex was amenable to us having the cats in the apartment. The amenities at the apartment complex include an up to date workout room, nice swimming pool, a terrific walking path, and a clubhouse. Each apartment has one covered parking space. There are handicapped units available that have handrails and are wheelchair accessible. Each unit has a washer and dryer hookup. The closets are rather small, but they are well organizable. It is a gated community. The staff for the community were very helpful and cooperative. It is my understanding, they now have a nurse that stays in the community and is available to help the residents.
Bottom line, if I were to give up my home permanently, I would probably go back to The Haven.

There is a lot of crime activity in this apartment complex; most of it goes unreported… Ag least i thought it was unreported!
So when i called the office to report somethimg i witnessed, the office staff was very rude! I asked her to speak to the manager and after i told her what i witnessed she got really defensive she began yelling and said «i’m tired of yall calling about crime, there is crime everywhere and i cant control what happens here»
I wouldn’t recomend this complex to anyone! Dont be fooled by how it appears, from the outside It looks really nice, but remember things arent always as they appear!!!
The worse of my experience is the office staff! They are inadequate very unprofessional!!! So think about it do you really want to pay $ 1400 to live somewhere that is unsafe and management refuses to even try to do something about it?
Where you live is your decision, i just hope you decide to live somewhere safe, confortable and in good condtion!
Besides, if you want to live in a crime filled, unkept complex you can get it much cheaper than $ 1400 a month!
