If you are thinking about enrolling your child (ren) in a camp here, please think again before you do. I have been thoroughly disappointed in this business’s approach to providing a well-​planned, organized event.
I signed up for a camp for my daughter several months ago, and was never told of the apparent policy that if enrollment is below a certain number, the camp will be cancelled and rescheduled. But I did find this out, the evening before the camp (which was supposed to start at 10 am the next day). No prior notice to this, and what I got was a phone call from an employee who couldn’t explain anything more to me other than «that’s our policy». If it’s your policy, put it on your website!!! I went back and looked at it again to be sure I hadn’t missed it, and there is nothing there. I also asked the employee to have the manager call me back to explain further what was going to be done to remedy the situation, and I was assured that I would get a call the same evening. Surprise, surprise — no call from the owner. Too bad that I had actually scheduled a day off (and lost revenue) so I could have this great experience with my child! So inconsiderate and unprofessional to not give at least 24 hours notice — most businesses expect this of their customers who need to cancel, shouldn’t the consumer expect the same?
So long story short, beware and I suggest to stay away from Elite Dance. Thank goodness there are other options for dance classes and camps in the area.
