I don’t always write Unilocal reviews, but when I do it’s either five stars or one. This place has a fabulous beachfront location and the menu looked promising. From there our expectations quickly plummeted. Our server was clearly in over her head, but even so, it ranked among the worst. I’d recommend asking questions whenever menu descriptions are insufficient; however, she was unable(or perhaps unwilling) to answer any. New England style lobster roll shouldn’t, to my knowledge, consist of mainly imitation krab. Mac and cheese sub par, nuked, while french fries were cold. Cuban sandwich and smoked fish dip were just meh. On the plus side, Crawler drink and Islamorada Ale were fine. Pro tip: use the restroom before you go unless you’re in a camper with self contained facilities. The bathrooms were closed due to «temporary» plumbing issues.

You’re better off fishing off the pier for your food, the fish will give more attention to your hook and line than any of the servers at this establishment. Once you’re able to flag someone down expect water downed drinks and entrees that fail to pass the test at even the most basic of fast food restaurants. More so, the fryer is working overtime to muster any semblance of cooked cuisine at this place. It’s truly a disservice to this beautiful area that you choose to pass all proteins through scalding vegetable oil. For Unilocal reviewers to don this place a «hidden gem» is beyond disingenuous. Rarely does Unilocal steer us to such an insipid local. I realize these are the keys, and the cuisine selection might be sparse, but don’t leave your patrons stranded and scrambling back to the mainland.

Stayed here for a week, food was not very good and way over priced! Also the tiki bar was s huge disappointment, the bartender pretty unfriendly and had not much to make island drinks. No frozen drinks at all !

Great atmosphere with quality food at a great price. I sat right on the water and the weather was beautiful! I ordered the special shrimp quesadilla and it was fabulous. The owner came over and chatted for awhile and she was super nice. Our waitress, Melissa was very friendly and knowldgeable about local activies. She was prompt and professional. I will definitely be back with friends and family. It looks like a great hangout. well worth pulling off the highway.

Excellent hidden gem on the gulf. Cold beers, excellent snapper rueben sandwich. Greated by Marlin, a huge lab who loves people. Sit and watch the dolphins as you dine. Hidden in the rear of Fiesta Key campground, so look for that sign on hwy, 1

Wow! What a view of the Gulf. One of the few unobstructed views of the ocean in the keys. Michelle, the owner, is very kind. The fresh snapper sandwich was DELICIOUS! Take it down with a Goose Island.

Great view of the Bay. Love the tiki bar concept. The entertainment on the weekends is hit or miss. Only open four days a week. Major turn off. Great wait staff. The food is your typical fried bar food. A little over price for what it is. Had the stake and lobster tail special one night. Stake was cooked good but the quality was horrible, rubber like. The tail was very soggy. The cook dose a good job preparing the poor quality food. Paid over $ 20 for this and had to eat it with a plastic fork and knife. Paid $ 6 for a locally made 8 oz. draft beer. Can safely say this is the first time I ever paid $ 6 for a micro brewed draft beer. Our mixed drinks were short poured by the bar tender. Basically paid for flavored water. That is just a lack of respect to the customers. Hopefully this review will help them because this place has the potential in becoming a gold mine. Will go back in a few weeks to see if things have change.

Odd location inside the campground, if you are not staying there. Following the GPS I thought that Tom Tom was definitely wrong(again, as usual!) But nope, he was right and there it is, with spectacular ocean views and a great covered outdoor seating area, great if you want to be outside but it rains. It does rain a lot here, if you didn’t know… Not a lot of food choices, but the two things we tried were very good. The fish in my fish sandwich was superb, fresh and cooked to perfection.

This is the first time I’ve been here but my mom has been here on several occasions. They just opened with new owners that also own Mangrove Mikes in Islamorada. We had their cheeseburgers tonight and they were HUGE and juicy, with fries for $ 9. Also had a mango margarita that was one of the best I’ve ever had, a special of Walter’s, the bartender. My mom has also gotten the lobster salad stuffed tomato(they also can stuff it with tuna or chicken salad) that was she loved for $ 8! She also said all of their salads were good. She’s had the Caesar salad with seared tuna that was scrumptious. She hasn’t had a bad meal yet! Also their happy hour runs 3−5pm with VERY inexpensive drinks. Everyone that’s gone there has said great things! And the view is awesome! I can’t believe how inexpensive this place is with such great food and view! Make sure to stop here while traveling through the mid-upper Keys

WOW! What a treasure! We were very happily surprised by the delicious fresh prepared to order dinners my husband and I enjoyed. Hubby. Ordered a Seafood Platter that was very generously proportioned and tasted OUTSTANDING. Blackened Scallops were succulent and divine. My Hamburger was fresh and made by hand. The beautiful setting was a bonus that was only surpassed by the friendly and talented staff. Thank you Kimie for your excellent service and wonderful customer care. We would never have found this special little place had we not camped our motor coach at the Fiesta Key RV Resort. You’ll need to enter the resort to get here but you won’t have any problems getting in. Well worth the effort!

Meh… typical bar food. Had the lobster roll which is made with shredded lobster(not sure it isn’t faux lobster-Kind of tasted like it was.) was edible. I did like the steak fries served with it. My husband had the lobster melt and he was not impressed. Nothing special here you can’t get at any other greasy spoon in the keys.
