Hobby Lobby

I love hobby lobby. However this location has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever seen anywhere! Be careful when they ring you up. Just trust me on this.

Very dangerous store!!! BEWARE!!! You will have problems if you planned on just looking and not buying. This store is great and has many 50% off specials. The selection is outstanding and unique. A lot of the items in this store you would be challenged to find anywhere else. Have also experienced that if we couldn’t find something anywhere else, we can find it at Hobby Lobby.

I like the variety of items carried, but also think prices are outrageous unless I happen to catch something on a sale week. However, if any large quantity of items are needed, hobby lobby has very poor methods for ensuring customer needs are met. They issue handwritten rainchecks, order from the warehouse, and it’s kind of a craps shoot as to whether the warehouse will send it. I had this problem more than once. Then, when I asked if checking other stores for inventory was a service hobby lobby offered, I was told that I could do that, because «you’re at home. At the store, we’ve got things to do». It seemed presumptuous of a manager to say something like that to a customer. Needless to say, after 3 months of weekly ordering and reordering, I was finally able to get something suitable for my needs. I will not be ordering items from hobby lobby again, but will only be purchasing items carried in stock, and only if they are on sale.

LAYTON, UT: I love this Hobby Lobby, they have everything my wife needs… except sufficient service employees to show me where to find said things.
I’m the guy wandering all over the store clueless until I bump into an employee.
And I like taking photos of the funny stuff I see on the shelves while I meander.

They have a really nice selection! Crafts of all sorts. They have a nice fabric and décor section as well. Their prices are very competitive-​if not lower than the other craft stores in the area. I also like that they have non normal brands there too so that you have a variety to pick from.

Hobby Lobby is the best place to go for all cutesy fun home décor. Crafts to make, crafts already made, home decorations, pictures, you name it.

Hi, my name is tristan and I am a bead addict. I have a thing for beads. and as per usual, when I like something, I kinda get a little crazed for it. Please don’t ask me how many harps I have. And for heavenly sake, don’t ask me how many beads I have. I seem to have finally almost beaten down the Unilocal addiction. at least for now. so it just transfers to different items in my life. Actually the Unilocal addiction is a much more thrifty addiction. must transfer addictions. avoid harps … avoid beads.
SO, back to beads. Located at the back of the store, some 2 or 3 aisles of the beauteous stuff. Two weeks ago I proudly came away with only lobster clasps, what a good girl. But wait, did I mention this place has beautiful items for your home? Like, the Blue and White pottery area. Err, I also have a blue & white thing. Yeah. I allow myself a piece of pottery/​teapot/​extraneous item about every 6 months. Only if on sale, mind you and only if it is beautiful. Most recently I found some victorian, curly, wrought iron shelf brackets that rock my world, had been looking online for them for months.
If you like a certain craft, or just want some cool stuff for your home, Hobby Lobby will almost assuredly fix you up. And btw, if something is not on sale when you go, wait a week and try again. The 50% off signs change each week.
Beware craft-​heads. You are in trouble.

Crafting mecca!
I liked Hobby Lobby when I lived in Texas, but now, after visiting the bright, clean and huge Layton store, I am now a serious Hobby Lobby fanatic!
They have everything from silk flowers, fabric, scrapbooking supplies, framing department, paint, art supplies, knick knacks, brick-​a-​brack, model trains, planes and automobiles, home décor, holiday items, the list could go on forever.
Use their mobile site for 40% off coupons (just show them your phone at checkout,) or just hope to get lucky on one of their weekly sales.
The employees here are just another great part of this store. On our visit they were helpful and friendly and they had plenty of registers open to help us get checked out speedily.
