Sunrise & Shine Omelet Grill

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time, and not to mention it costs half as much as IHOP!

New to town. Best breakfast I’ve had so far. Excellent omelets, down home atmosphere and awesome prices. All the bread is home made and the people watching is fantastic.

I will never eat here again…
A) my coffee cup stinks. Even with coffee in it… it smells funny.
B) they only offer non dairy creamer and it’s sitting in direct view of the sunlight on the table. When I fixed my coffee all up with cream and sugar and it wasn’t hot, I sent it back. The waitress told me it was because I used a lot of cream. Lol. The cream that’s basically boiling in the sun…
C) the food is terribly seasoned, bland, and maybe kinda stale. The raisin toast taste like it was the last slice in a bag that’s two weeks old.
D) They only take cash.
I guess I shouldn’t be THAT picky since all the food cost a nickel, but I only ate the meat and like 3 pieces of my potatoes. I really had higher hopes. In a nutshell, my food was gross.

Waiter was very friendly and knew the menu well. The food was pretty decent typical breakfast items. I’m boring when I do breakfast so I know the eggs bacon and toast are good lol. The building is a bit old and same with the furniture but hey it’s Lawton what do you expect.

Place was definitely great for the price. A lot of food without breaking bank. One thing they should work on is wait times for the food, but beyond that, the food tasted great and wait staff was friendly.

Fast service, tasty food. OK atmosphere.

Short drive from the Wichita Wildlife Refuge. Definitely worth it. Great pancakes. Lightly crispy around the edges yet fluffy. Great selection of omelets. Hash browns were just ok, but home fries were good. Pretty affordable you can get plenty of food for only $ 5. Will stop by again next trip to the Wichita Mtns.

Stayed at Witchita Mountains Wildlife Reserve and wanted a quick, cheap and tasty breakfast on our way out. Sunrise hit the spot!
The waitresses, especially Mercy, were incredibly sweet and quick to please. French toast was delicious. Will definitely eat here next time we’re in this part of the country!!!

We went to this place for Mothers Day and we were very impressed and excited to finish our meals. We ordered omelets and a short stack. My husband had the avocado, beef, and cheddar cheese omelette with grits and white bread; I had the avocado, tomato, jalapeño and cheddar cheese omelette with country fries and raisin bread. OhEmGee when I tell you I fell in love with the raisin bread!!! If we didn’t order so much I would have eaten every last crumb.
This is a MUST! I will definitely take my mother and mother-​in-​law here when they arrive in a few months.

Pretty okay place. Over hard eggs were good. Server was adequate. Was not impressed. Toast is huge but tastes okay. Cheap prices.

This solid diner offers good breakfast food at a very cheap price. The food is always good, but the place can feel a bit greasy. Nothing wrong with that, especially for a diner. I’ve never been disappointed; I’ve also never been really impressed. But this place serves good food at a great price.

This place was just ok. I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast and basically stomached it. The steak itself was very thin, a little on the tough side and the fried outer layer was extremely greasy.
The gravy was good, but honestly I felt like there was MSG in it or something because it was so runny and just LOOKED bad.
The service was good, I was slightly shocked when the lady who took my payment told me I could take the tip back to the table for her.

They serve traditional, hearty breakfast favorites here. The variety of omelettes and ingredients available is ridiculous. The menu is really long since there are so many options. I stopped looking at the rest after getting to the omelet section, but there is surely something available to satisfy anyone’s tastes.
I had an avocado, sausage, onion, and cheese omelet, which came with home fried potatoes and raisin toast. With each omelet, you have a choice of hash browns, home fried potatoes, or grits and also white toast, wheat toast, raisin toast, or biscuits. All of the omelettes are priced at $ 5 or less and are very affordable.
The service was exceptional. I was very surprised by the hospitality here. It wasn’t just my waitress who was great, but all of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Our server was by herself on Christmas Eve and they were very busy. She was amazing though! And the food was awesome. The menu had more than your usual breakfast ingredients.

Nice, clean place with friendly and fast service. They offer about forty omelets made with various ingredients ranging from bacon and avocado to spaghetti sauce and roast beef. They bake their own bread! The omelet I had was very good and not greasy at all. They also have your other more typical fare. Diner-​like atmosphere.

There are two of these in Lawton if memory serves correct. Very good breakfast/​lunch place for good price! One of the few places where they didnt screw up at least something. Everything always perfect here. They make my eggs over medium perfect. (so many dont) Too bad they close early… Im not much of a morning person. Honestly though. this will beat the motel 6 contental breakfast all to hell!!! Supposedly their omelets are what they excell in. Owners are very nice asian folks. This is military town. (ie military town ALWAYS has high asian population)

The food was great and cheap! And the waitress was awesome! She held my baby so I could eat! Love this place will be returning!

Near our hotel, we were looking for a country breakfast. Not bad and super cheap. I had a omelet (avocado, green chili and bacon), biscuits and grits for $ 4.50. Now the food isn’t mind blowing (the «avocado» was guacamole from a bag and the bacon more like bacon bits) though decent and better then say Denny’s, but the service was great and friendly and the food was really quick. We’ll probably go back tomorrow.

If your looking for a cheap breakfast that will fill you up without overloading you with the portion size, Sunrise and Shine is your best bet in Lawton. Operating similar to an IHOP, it has a wide array of omelet options as well as your various home-​style breakfasts. For under $ 5 you’ll be full and happy. The food is good and comes out quickly, even when the place is packed. I don’t often eat breakfast (yes, i know i should) but when I do, this is my favorite place. Its a great next day hangover cure after a night of drinking also.
They have a limited lunch menu (BLTs, chicken fingers, etc.) however I haven’t tried any of those items before so i couldn’t give you a fair assessment of their quality.
Bottom line, it’s good, cheap, and quick breakfast food.
