This review is for the energy efficiency of LP compared to my current apartment on the other side of Lawton. Legends was very energy inefficient. The energy bill was around $ 100 in the winter. The windows are single pained and you could feel cold air leaking in from the window and patio door during the winter. My current apartment has double pained windows and the apartment stays very warm in the cold Lawton winters. I don’t hear the heat constantly running like I did at Legends. On average you will pay at least $ 60 – 70 for water each month also.

So I think it sucks that the only review on here is a bad one and more people should review! I moved here despite the lack of reviews because in Lawton there’s really not much of a competition for a place to live for 6 months. A friend recommended this place to us for CCC after we already lived at Independence Place 4 years ago for BOLC. It does the job, I never heard my neighbors and I’m on the 1st floor. The only complaint is that I wish their gym had more but it has the essentials so that’s what matters. Nice area, good staff(I’ve only ever dealt with Tanya but everyone else seems nice if she’s not around). If you’re going to be here for a short time, I’d recommend this complex.

Oh this God awful place… I feel like I’m wasting my time writing a review because there are 2 acceptable places to live in the crappy town of Lawton, OK so people are still going to live here but it makes me feel better telling everyone how horrible this place is! From the first time you contact them, you can tell why these people work at an apartment in Lawton. The company is run ass-backwards. My husband had captains career course in Lawton and we had to be there at a specific time. Rather than run their complex like every other apt complex in America, they aren’t able to tell you where you’ll be moving into… even though they have move out lists. Then they tried to change our move in date to after the course start date. They don’t take care of their units so when it gets cold… like it does every year in Oklahoma… the pipe burst on our patio & flooded the apt. They didn’t clean it up correctly, we got mold, and then they just wanted to pretend like it didn’t happen. Sorry, we signed a mold addendum. You have to deal with it. Honestly, I know the things we experienced were specific to us. The main reason why I think this place sucks is because they try to take advantage of the residents. You have to pay a fee to pay your rent online, you have to pay a fee to do automatic withdrawal, you have a fee for valet trash, you have a fee to get a clicker to get into the gate. If you can find a nice place to live that isn’t here… do it! We’ve already been telling all our friends who are coming up here… not to live at Legend Park!
