Johnson’s Furniture Repair & Antiques

I was referred to Johnson’s Furniture Repair and Antiques by the Ft. Sill Claims Office. Mr. Johnson does furniture repair appraisals and estimates to settle military moving claims. I had a catastrophic move somewhere in the mix between Atlanta, long term storage and Lawton. Anyway, Mr. Johnson came to my house to conduct the inspection. Several days later, I needed one more document to complete my claim and stopped by the shop located on the corner of 10^th St. and A Ave.
Holy cow! If it wouldn’t have been completely obvious — I would have snapped a few photos to capture the amount of CRUD inside. Take a look at the exterior photo I uploaded. There are loads upon loads of furniture in addition to the «antiques» aka junk. I have some knowledge of antiques and as a child went to more than my fair share of junk barns, estate auctions and endless garage sales (perhaps that’s why I have a general dislike towards any of that as an adult!). Regardless, I cannot imagine being able to find anything inside this antiques store. I hope that Mr. Johnson stays in business forever because a move or liquidating his inventory would have to be torturous.
