Jaks Cafe

Very friendly service. The food is alright– typical greasy spoon fair. The restaurant just seems so dingy.

I went to Jaks because a friend recommended it to me. My over all experience was GREAT, fast friendly service, and the establishment is in an older building, but a decent remodel job has been preformed on the inside so the décor is warm and inviting. The only thing missing was some noise, no music or TV sound. On to the food, I had a Bacon Cheese Burger with lettuce, pickle, mustard, bacon, and cheese. It was a fresh and well prepared burger with plenty of flavor. On the side I got their chilly cheese fries, I can’t say for sure, but the chilly tasted home made and it was very good, the French fries were good as well. For a drink I had Dr. Pepper, 20fl. Oz. bottle (I’m not sure if they are getting a soda fountain machine any time in the near future, so refills, I don’t know I had over a third of my bottle of DP left when I was finished. For now I recommend it to all, I will be going back and I will try and update this post if any thing changes. I am going to try and add a picture or two.
