This place is a dump. Came here with my boyfriend, he is stationed at the base a few blocks away and we decided to give it a shot. Awful mistake. You are likely to be the ONLY customer if you decide to come in. My BF is of Spanish descent and the owner only spoke to him. Ignored me completely. I ordered a soda and the cup smelled like dirty old water. My food was decent, however, I was charged full dinner price when the menu said it was a «lunch special» I was there at lunch time during the special and he charged full price anyway. We asked for ketchup and he came out with a small tiny cup of ketchup(lol) literally a packet at fast food joints had more ketchup than that. I just bit my tongue and let it go. I just feel like if you barely have any customers, at least be loyal and welcoming to the few who actually give you business. Sucks and will never come back. Fair warning to all of you in Lawton!

A little taste of home! Every time I am working on a military base I know there has to be a Puerto Rican restaurant somewhere close, and I was right! Went in for dinner and the pace was empty. A young girl took my order, she was very sweet and polite. I ordered the Arroz con gandules and pernil. A staple at home on many occasions. The food was hot and tasty, a little salty on the pork but I like salt so it really wasn’t an issue for me, but it may be for some! The portions was just right and the price didn’t seem expensive at all for the portion size. I am in town for another 3 days and I will be back before I leave to try the oxtail!

Very different. Never had Puerto Rican food. Very bland compared to Cajun. Ordered the roasted pork and yellow rice. The pork melted in my mouth. Was looking ghe love u. bye flavored and tender. Rice was good. Empanadas were wow. I swear that was homemade crust. Wow. Melted. Soooo good tasting. I could have eaten the crust. People very friendly. A little trouble understanding him – but I always have trouble with the Puerto Rican accent. The only one of Latinos that stumps me for some reason Clean. Family friendly.

Best Puerto Rican food I’ve tasted in a while. I’m from Chicago and it gave me a taste of home. Everything’s cooked fresh when you order and the family who runs is very friendly.

I enjoyed the food here; I had a plate of oxtails and rice, side of red beans and plantain. It was very good. The one problem I had was this place being called a «Caribbean» restaurant. I wouldn’t consider this much of a Caribbean flavor, but rather a Puerto Rican restaurant. There was not many Caribbean dishes on the menu and the oxtail meal was close to $ 13 alone. Either way it was a good meal but I won’t be a regular at this joint

Loved the food here and the staff was really sweet and welcoming. Can’t wait to try the croquetas but I wish they had a better beer selection. Food was great though:)

Though the menu is small, they’ve got it right! It’s a very family style place, it reminds of places I’ve eaten at in Southern Florida… real people, friendly, and deliciously authentic! The staff made us feel welcome, like I was visiting their home for dinner, and I loved that! I ordered shrimp w/plantains(which came w/a side salad) aka MOFONGORELLENOCAMARONES. It was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful – full of flavor! It’s not Mexican food, so don’t be confused, but I think you’ll enjoy it. I’m just thankful to have more food choices and I’ll happily go there again! They also offer some tasty dessert options too… Flan, Tres Leches Cake, etc. BTW: They are moving to a new location on Ft. Sill Blvd closer to Ft. Sill August 1st, and they will offer alcohol & dancing! WOOHOO!(Currently, dancing and booze is not offered, but that’s ok).

The doctor I work for is Puerto Rican and I told her about this place and since then she is obsessed! It’s just like her mothers cooking so this place is authentic! Not my taste personally but if your stuck in Lawton and you like Puerto Rican food this is place to go
