Dick’s Sporting Goods

Don’t lose your receipt. Even though the price I paid is in the computer I was only refunded the sale price which had gone down significantly in a day. Then it wasn’t even a refund it was a store credit.

Not overwhelmed not underwhelmed. Just kind of ok. Has everything you could want in a sporting goods store. Well almost, it didn’t have the type of dumbbells I wanted to get for my wife to use but then again neither did any other store in town.
I think the employees like saying «WELCOME TO DICK’S a little too much but hey when your that young let’s face it… its funny.
In any case the prices are about the same as Academy with an edge in the area of ludicrous going to Academy but Dicks is not far behind. Somewhere less than ridiculous, maybe around, as my wife puts it „Oh, that’s cute.(pauses, looks at price tag) That’s just stupiiiid“, Im not paying that, I can get the same thing or close to it at Walmart». Yes folks that is a legitimate category in my book, just hang out at any Academy or Dicks and you will hear it sooner or later.
I did get a good laugh or two. At the guy who is always there in the weight lifting area, lifting weights! HA! You know who I’m talking about ! We went to Academy and Dicks that day and both places had the guy, «testing» the dumbbells… maybe that’s why they call them dumbbell’s. Oh and he was grunting too, that really set me off. Man. Good times.
