I just moved to the area and needed to find someone to fix a down coat that had ripped pockets. I took this coat to another cleaners and they weren’t willing to try to fix it! Boy was I relieved when I came here! I was able to pick up the coat the next day and it looks better than new. This place also has a great selection of menswear. Scored a great tie for an excellent price. I will definitely be coming back!

I will follow Mira (expert Seamstress) wherever she goes! Mira is an expert at alterations and I so wish I had brought her my wedding dress from day one. Unfortunately, I had my wedding dress altered at «The Bridal Suite» in Hamilton thinking they were experts at Bridal alterations… instead they cut a lot of corners and ruined my once beautiful dress.
Mira didn’t have to help me out only 3 days before my wedding BUT SHE DID! She had to work hard and fast to repair what she could of my bridal gown. The people at Shaffer’s took the time to try and fix someone else’s wrong. Their prices are great and I would have paid Mira a lot more for her work.
Needless to say, the alterations she did on both my mother and mother-​in-​laws gowns were phenomenal.
Wish I would have used her as my initial wedding dress seamstress.

I have been going there off and on for at least 4 – 5 years, always happy with tailoring and finding some unique jackets. Love the collection of Tommy Bahama items and very stylish men’s sweaters. Owner always very helpful and delivers on time.
