Had a Saturday lunch about 2 weeks ago on a gift card and found out that they are no longer part of the Darden chain. We ordered blackened catfish and the service was maybe a little too prompt. The fish tasted like the preceding night’s leftover that was reheated in a microwave. My wife and I were both put off by the taste and could not finish. Plus this location was pretty old and dingy. We will not return.

Our meal took about three hours bc service was so slow and it took over an hour to get sat. Our server was nice and tried to compensate with free dessert but I think she was overwhelmed bc it took a long time for simple things(such as a drink refill) to be done. Would not recommend !!

My one star may be dramatic but I don’t have much to go on. We walked in at 9:37 and it took a few minutes to be seated. Twenty minutes later, no server came to take our drink orders so we left. Thanks for the free biscuits, I guess.

So we just left this restaurant bc it took over 20 mins for someone to wait on us. No one came over to our table at all… The hostess that sat us walked past our table, noticed we weren’t helped yet and did nothing about it. Waitresses were all around us cleaning tables, but not helping us. I had two hungry, well behaved kids. We will never come back to this Red Lobster, EVER!!!

This is one of the few chain restaurants I consider a special treat rather than having been sentenced to mediocrity. The cheddar bay biscuits and the caesar salad are a good way to start your meal. They have reasonable prices for raw oysters served with all of the typical toppings. For entrees, I usually go with one of the combos which are a good value and plenty of food. This is one of the few restaurants(other than vegetarian/vegan) restaurants that can make vegetables that may have some actual flavor and seasoning. Service is always quick and friendly with the waitstaff generally being on top of refilling your drink and your biscuit basket.

The waitress was amazing! Monica made our day. Total sweetheart. Unfortunately when we walked in, the floors were not clean and the toilet had exposing wire to flush the toilet with. This was in the female restroom. Although the restaurant wasnt clean… the food was amazing and Monica our waitress was amazing! We had lobster fest and enjoyed it. Plenty of lobster!

Why all the bad reviews. I really enjoyed our dinner here. We took our mom here to celebrate her birthday and we ordered a bunch of stuffs including one of their lobster, shrimp entrees. Everything tasted fresher and better than I expected. And the butter biscuits were even a better plus. Plus the service was very good as well. Our waiter, Richard was very nice and even packed extra biscuits for us to take home. Overall a good experience, I’ll be back for sure

My food was terrible. I only liked there biscuits. Service was terrible the greeter wasn’t the most friendly, and when I asked another employee where the bathroom was I got a rude response. Thankfully our server was good she was very nice and friendly.

After waiting 15 minutes to order, I ordered Cod from the fresh fish menu. The waitress came back 15 minutes later with our biscuits and salads. She then comes back another 10mins later and tells me that they are out of Cod… are you kidding me?!? You just found that out now? Next time I will save my time and go to Bonefish. To his credit, the manager wanted to help but Red lobster is limited with the options of fresh fish.

Food comes either overcooked. well yes. overcooked every time. What was I thinking. I asked for my steak to be medium. It came as shoe leather. The server came back to replace it. Took a long time. I had to take it to go, but when I got back to my hotel, the piece was half the size of the original. *&^# *&!!! Only thing good about RLobster is the garlic cheesey rolls and that’s it.

This is our first time and last time to this location! First of all, the host was horrible, we needed to ask her multiple times to change our seat, she lead us to sit next to the door and it was really chilly there, during our dinner, we saw she always put Asian couples in the seats next to the door, and lead other couples to the better seats. We asked her to change seats since we saw a lot of empty ones there, but she said she would check it and never got back. Finally after we talked to our waitress, the host was forced to change our seats. Secondly, the service was not good, I don’t know if the host said sth, our waitress did not care us much, everything was slow except the check. I totally understand if there were a lot of people there, but there were not! We have been to other red lobster locations, this is the worst one! In summary, if you are Asian, be careful, if you want good service, avoid this location!

Has anyone ever noticed you never see fingers in their tv ads? That would clue you in to how small the portions — and shrimp, lobster, crab legs — are.

I love their Cajun Chicken pasta and their popcorn shrimp with tartar sauce. I love their cheddar bay biscuits they’re so good. They make a delicious shrimp scampi and the Broiled or Fried Flounder is really yummy! I always get the garden salad with oil and vinegar dressing on the side and they have great appetizers at Red Lobster. If I get dessert my choice is always a slice of Red Lobster’s signature Key Lime pie without question.

i like to snub my nose at chain restaurants, but i’m willing to make an exception this time. this particular red lobster is currently undergoing some renovation, so there is a bit of a smell when you walk in here. but i digress. i’ve come here many times with my family over the years and have been pretty satisfied with the service. and we decided to come back recently. i ordered the bar harbor lobster bake(right now its lobsterfest), mom got the sailors platter, and dad ordered the shrimp with wood grilled chicken. everything was alright. i wasn’t that big of a fan of my order and wish they had alfredo sauce instead of oil sauce with the spaghetti in my dish. my dad some how got lobster instead of chicken. the waitress changed it and it was taken off the bill because of the mistake(really nice of them). she was also really friendly and attentive(which is the case with almost every waiter/waitress we’ve encountered here). these are good people. we will continue to come back.

I’ve been here couple of times with my friends and family. I’d say this is a pretty good deal. For less than $ 20 you can get some shrimp, some mussels and maybe some lobster. My wife and I would come here every so often to try their seafood which, in all honesty, is well made in our opinion.

Perhaps my review might be outdated(I visited this location in March), but I and my pedestrian tastes must respectfully disagree with the others. None of my food had me in raptures, but it was certainly good eats, and my father and brother both enjoyed their steaks. The shrimp were perfectly cooked(always a basic to watch out for), the rice well-seasoned, and the recipe of the banana chocolate milkshakes were apparently changed, but still good. I also enjoyed the free ice cream with caramel and chocolate sauce(yay birthdays in restaurants?) and the song was not a super-annoying, long, ‘special’ one. Good to know. Of course, one of the highlights of a visit to Red Lobster is the buttery, cheesy, garlicky biscuits, fresh out of the oven. I snuck a few to take home for later, as usual; I’m just glad I could get something tangible(though fleeting~) from my only birthday present this year…

I’m not one to snub my nose to chain restaurants. There are many that I quite enjoy despite their lack of creativity. One such restaurant was always Red Lobster. It was a place of numerous constants: constant visits for birthday celebrations, constant long waits for a table, constant ordering of the ultimate feast which I would devour followed immediately by constant satisfaction and fullness. My recent visit, one after many years away, left a very sour taste. Maybe I should have been tipped when we were immediately seated on a Friday at 8pm in what was practically an empty restaurant in comparison to our previous visits. The quality and service of the food was far below that which it used to be. The lobster tails were minuscule, the crab legs overcooked, and the waiter crabby. For a better dining experience try Joe’s Crab Shack just a few hundred yards down the road. This Red Lobster just isn’t what it used to be.

Gross. Overpriced, nasty food and generally apathetic service– but hey, I’d be apathetic if I worked there, too. If you’re really into seafood, go someplace else.
