Peach State Federal Credit Union

Ive been bankin with these guys for about 5 years. Constant direct deposits. I get in a pickle and decide to get a small personal loan from my credit union. Mind you, the only reason I joined a credit union was to try to build a little more credit. I was denied a small 1500 dollar loan because of a little blemish from AT&T on my credit report. Now, im no accountant, but i know my DTI is well enough to warrant a 1500 dollar loan. For a bank that builds their brand on «small hometown» «help the little people», they showed no love at all. I will be closing my account as soon as i have set up direct deposit with another bank. Then they have the nerve to tell me to get a credit card with them. 500 dollar balance but I have to have 500 dollars in my savings to cover it… Whats the point in giving me 500 dollars credit if i have 500 dollars already? These guys…

You have the worst app & website. All I want to do is check my account & it can’t even load anything. They both keep crashing. Not to mention the fact that I can never get in touch with anyone so I can handle anything. I’ve had nothing but problems in the past– from getting charged double to getting slammed with an overdraft fee due to being charged twice. Then getting attitude when I asked for it to be reversed. Plus getting an attitude when I used basic math to prove that I did have enough money in my account to cover the costs. You still refused to reimburse me the overdraft fee. Also, trying to get a loan, I was told I only could get a loan for the exact amount I already had in a CD even though my father was at the main branch with someone who was saying I could get the $ 500 extra. I’m getting rid of this bank after all the nonsense I’ve had to go through since I opened the account.
If you’re going to provide a «toll free» number to offer help if there is an emergency, then maybe it should be open ²⁴⁄₇ in case something happens so people don’t have to wait until the following morning to get help after losing sleep & becoming an anxious mess.

This location of peach state credit union serving community for several years. It’s located in oak road next mcdonals, the location is convenient to most. Fast service and very good customer care. Never seen much rush here, so I enjoy banking here.
