Old Norcross Road Pharmacy

This pharmacy has moved to their new location off Flat Shoals rd. AND they have a new name. They now go by Neighborhood Pharmacy. They haven’t updated their Unilocal account yet so I will be writing the review on their old location and name. These guys are even cheaper than any of the big name pharmacies. I mean it! When I brought my prescription in I watched as the pharmacist called wal mart and price matched everything and then gave me additional price cuts on top of that! I paid probably 30% less than I would have at Wal Mart. The way he explained it is «Yes drugstores like Wal mart, CVS, a Kroger have the $ 4 generic plans and that’s all well and good. They lure you in with those and then its the other specialty or name brand drugs that they get you on, but you accept it because it’s Wal Mart certainly they’re getting it for the cheapest price since they must buy a lot. Oh they are, but that doesn’t stop them from marking the drugs up exponentially!» The moral of this story is this pharmacy was faster (about 10 or 15 minutes for 3 prescriptions) and way cheaper than any of the big pharmacy chains. I was treated like they valued my business and I felt very comfortable and not at all judged even though the medications I was getting might have illicitted some different responses at other stores.
