Mirza Hookah Lounge

If you haven’t eaten at Mirza you are missing a culinary delight. We had dinner again last week it was perfect. The flavors pop in your mouth. Go Mirza love your food. My fav the lamb chops and chicken 65. WOW

So I’m from Chicago, the city of many Hookah Lounges. I read many reviews before I came to this place. Overall atmosphere was «decent» to say the less. Music was more of a club sound. Not much relaxing. Very limited seating considering the space. Let’s see what the hookah taste like? I’m buying the most expensive one to give them the benefit of the doubt.

There have been a plethora of hookah bars and similar genres of hangouts recently popping up here in the burbs — just north of the city — in ATL. Fortunately, this is one that comes to mind during anytime of the week even for me and my boy. We undoubtedly prefer to relax and recline in the comfortable and spacious leather couches offered here & actually REALLY enjoy a hookah — without the hassle of too much noise, crappy unattentive service, bad music, and a carelessly built hookahs. Anatolia and Mirza are my regular spots rain or shine, weekend or weekday — in North ATL. ***LARGER SIZED HOOKAH HITS LIKE A BOSS, DEFINITELY GET A BEVERAGE. TRY SOME AMAZING CHICKEN OR SHARABLE PLATE OF GRUBB***

This place is near where I live so it’s a very convenient spot for me and friends to hit up if we’re avoiding the drive to the city. If you rather party in ATL Friday/​Sat but have nothing to do on a Sunday this is a nice chill lounge/​restaurant-​ish place to come by with a good group or date. Last time we came menu prices were crazy affordable.
I don’t smoke hookah, Sorry! No comments on that.
My friend got me my first ever «s*x on the beach» here and wow I will only order this drink from this venue no place makes it like I had. I don’t know if the bartender that night had magic hands or what, she was incredible. It was a large ass glass too. Chicken 65 (w chutneys) and garlic naan are addictive we always order this when we’re here.
Customer service from the owners is always outstanding as well as security. I also see the crowd is picking up this place seems to have caught a lot of eyes over the year.

I come here at times since I live about 5 minutes away. The food is decent and the staff make you feel welcome.

Went on on a Friday night. Decent place for a suburb spot kinda out the way from Atlanta, but I can’t complain. The vibe is nice and chill, sit anywhere no matter the time it seems. No dress code as I saw. Drinks are strong and taste made just for females. Four stars because they don’t replace the coals fast enough to for me. Five star because the food is fucking phenomenal.

Mirza Hookah Lounge is located in a very convenient location in lawrenceville for those who don’t want to make the 25 minute trip to Atlanta to smoke hookah. I have been to this venue 2 times.
My first time at Mirza was unexpected but delightful. The hookah was great. Waitress was very friendly and music was awesome for a Saturday night.
My friends and I left until they closed and had a pleasant time. I left with the impression that I would be back soon.
Unfortunately as for my second visit to Mirza, it was anything but delightful. Group of friends and I arrived at about 2am. They close at 3am but we didn’t mind as we were trying to kill an hour and thought it’d be perfect to sit back and smoke some hookah.
As soon as we got there there was so many security gaurds outside. Which is understandable and actually reassuring for fellow clients, but at the same time I felt as they were looking down upon us. As if they’d never seen human beings before. Walking into Mirza I had no knowledge that it was «seat yourself» venue. I hadn’t recalled from my first visit.
It’s not vital but very pleasant when a host or hostess greets and welcomes you into an atmosphere. You don’t walk into a dental office and «seat yourself». Nevertheless, we sat ourselves and our waitress approaches us and it was quite difficult to hear her as we were right next to a speaker. We ordered our mint hookah.
Which the first time had left me with an outstanding impression.
Hookah arrived at great time. Unfortunately every intake was nothing but coughs and itch throat.
Gross!
I’d ask my friend if he can start the hookah as maybe i was being a little too sensitive since I’m not a regular smoker. When the hookah got back to me it was even worst! HE couldn’t even bare the burning sensation to the throat. At that instant I suggested we leave. It was about 2:25 and I didn’t want to get the hookah fixed because it seemed time consuming to me, as they were closing down already.
Which leads me to say how disgusting and unprofessional it looks for a waitress to be walking around with a moping bucket and acting like she was about to mop while people were still inside and dancing. I can understand wanting to leave work and get things shut down but being unprofessional is not the way to do it.
Anyways the hookah (tall) was $ 20 on the menu.
We left $ 20 on the table and left.
As we were walkig to the car i turn around because I hear our waitress tell a security «they didnt pay their tab» I instantly walked back and the security guard generously lets me know to clarify. I walk in and what seems to be the manager was at our table and he asked me «is everything ok» I responded to him saying «our waitress says we didnt pay our tab but we left cash on the table». He said «oh ok» very nicely. My friend then picks up the cash and takes it to her register. She then says «it’s $ 25».
Im baffled she’s changing the price!!!
Even if taxes are included it definitely wouldn’t be $ 25 exact as she charged.
She was obviously upset she didn’t get tipped for her horible service.
Very calmly my friend gives her another $ 5.
Although it wasn’t very professional to leave the cash on the table and walk out, still if we had great customer service to begin with it would have not been a problem.
I’m a very generous tiper. However when customer service is not up to par it’s difficult being generous.
I work with patients as well as clients.
I must say although I have my tough moments,
Great customer service one shall never lack!
Don’t know if I will be returning here.
Venue is convenient and nice, but I would hate to have a repetition of my second visit.
Sometiems the trip to the city is worth it.

Me and my friends and the worst hookah experience.
1^st the flavor we asked for isnt what our server told us. When we complained to have it changed, they insisted on charging $ 10 to get it changed!!!
The service is poor as most of the staff was busy smoking a hookah on the table next to us.
Also, never have i been asked to pay «extra» for coconut husk coal instead of magic coal.
To top it, they charge 20% gratuity automatically for the service which was neglible…
Avoid this place at all costs!!!

Excellent food, drinks, and atmosphere. They have a ton of great hookah flavors as well.

This place is a little pricey, but a lot of fun. The service was good, and so was the atmosphere. There was a $ 10 cover, and the cheapest drink was also around $ 10. That said, I’d still go back. Mirza was a blast.

Love this place!!! Whenever I’m in the area this will be my hookah bar of choice. They serve alcohol and the food is great! They also have free hookah tasting! Great service.

I’ve lived in Atlanta for over 20 years, never thought I’d find a place that had amazing food, music, entertainment and service all in one place. If you live in Atlanta or just visiting, this place is definitely worth your money and time. I promise you, you’ll love it!

This place is nice! The food is prob one of the best in Atlanta. They always bring it out quick and it’s always fresh and hot! The price is reasonable! I like their music and hookahs. One of the owners always comes and checks up on everything. That’s what you call excellent customer service!

I have been to this place recently with my hubby n couple friends. I really like the ambience. Music is good too.
Very affordable prices for the food as well as beverages .

Sooo… this was the venue I decided to watch the anticipated Mayweather fight. I made a reservation online but when I showed up my name was not on the list. It was how this establishment handled the situation that made me give them 5 stars. They created me a section. They provided wonderful customer service from the host to the servers to the bartenders to the security. I have never received such good service at a lounge/​club. I will be returning and advise others to go if they want to feel appreciated while spending money. The music, hookah, prices and service are all amazing.

Great venue. Great service. Great music. Great drinks. You get the point. Try this place out if you live in Gwinnett. It has an atl lounge atmosphere. Great place to go with groups.
I’ve gone on both Friday and Saturday and it was live both nights. I always meet new people there. The environment allows for a more social experience than a regular club. There are two sections to this place; the lounge area and the club area. The two are well separated so if you’re in one of those two sections you really are not affected by the other one. If you’re in the mood to lounge, smoke hookah, grab drinks with your woes, come here. Rather, if you’re in the mood to dance on the dance floor, get drunk, and have a turnt up night, come here. Drinks are cheaper than atl so us up and coming 20 something year olds can ball out on a budget here. Cheers!

This is actually not bad for the suburbs. Classy and sophisticated. The music was a bit loud but decent. Drinks very affordable and the energy is mellow. Full bar on deck

Great staff! Amazing food! Awesome music! And good drinks. This place has an awesome concept, 1 stop shop! Food, drinks, hookah, and music with a dance floor. Go once, you’ll be a regular!

This place has the potential to be a great hookah spot. It’s clean, has those comfy, oversize leather couches you can sink right into and has a cool backlit bar. The ambiance is all lowlit and purple, which I love. The hookah and service, however, are hit or miss. Servers are nice but not very attentive. I’ve had to flag someone down to bring the check (and then flag them down again to pick up the check!) both times I’ve been there. Mirza is fairly new, so hopefully this is will improve over time. I would still give this place a shot if you’re looking for something new to try out here in the suburbs.

Mirza has GREAT ethnic food and hookahs! The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. An awesome place to hang out if you’re in the mood for something low key or in the mood to dance and party. The music is great and the service is great. Our server checked on us and made sure our hookahs stayed running. One of the owners walked around and made sure everyone was enjoying their food, drinks, and hookahs. The food is absolutely delicious (I expected the food to be sub par because let’s face it, it’s a hookah bar) but I had the tandoori khati roll and it was amazing. Definitely coming back again. =)
