Like most libraries that I’ve visited in Gwinnett, this one is usually busy, but still very quiet & quaint. The staff are very friendly and always eager to assist. The facility is clean, and do is the bathroom. The kids area is GREAT, there are lots of books, a water fountain with a stool, a separate restroom, and computers where the kid can play educational games. This area is where most of the children’s events/activities take place. My son and I went in for Pre-K(ages 3 – 5) story time & we loved it. The theme for the day was silly books. The librarian read four silly books, played silly songs, gave the kids silly stamps, and she also collected names for a t-shirt giveaway. Story time is perfect for a low key outing, I didn’t do my hair or put on a lick of makeup! We plan on returning each week, as this event was free and I got to spend some one on one time with my munchkin.

Worst library I’ve ever been to. Currently here and it’s not even quiet. PPL just casually talking like its Starbucks. And this door that ppl keep entering and exiting from. Never again.

I love all the Gwinnett Co. Libraries this one is the closes to me. Duluth has my favourite quiet reading area but this one has computers available more often. I love this place.

I don’t know if I should review this comparing to other libraries in general or just Gwinnett libraries. I’ve been to a few gwinnett libraries. But I have also been to university libraries which don’t compare. Compared to other Gwinnett Libraries: Quaint place which stretches way beyond people realize. I actually volunteered here during high school, back in the day. The volunteer coordinator took me to the back where there are many offices. This campus is the main campus for administration for all public libraries. Kinda cool little fact most people may never know. That being said, they have a pretty awesome volunteer program! Or they did back in the day at least ;). Cool magazine room that stays quiet. Library in general is always quiet(as it should be ;)) Lots of kids always, but it’s not too bad. Good lighting. Wifi usually works if needed. Has all the books you’ll possibly need, or you can have them reserve the book you need to pick up on the gwinnett public library website. I think they have book clubs, puppet shows, and stuff like that. I usually at this point only go on the website, have books on hold for me, and go pick them up. It’s super convenient! Reading is FUNdamental! :)
