I went in with a friend to check the place out while waiting for a table at Local Republic next door. Great selection of beers and a very knowledgeable staff. Four samples for $ 5(which amounts to one full beer at a bar) is very reasonable, and I try some stuff I normally wouldn’t think to buy, but that turned out delicious. Ended up taking a growler home. Recommend this place.

Always a great selection. I have been visiting this growler place for years. Different growler sizes are available. He moved to a more accessible place. Stop by and try a sample beer. I will keep coming back as long as he keeps having a amazing selection.

This place is great… unless your favorite beer is Keystone Light out of a can. Even then, they have something for you to try. Staff is super friendly. Always willing to offer advice and knowledge around each beer. Great selection that changes from week to week. Going in to enjoy 4 samples($ 5) of a beer you’ve never had(or heard of) and then leaving with a growler full of your favorite of the 4 is my idea of a Tuesday night. Have to stop in if you’re in Lville. Worth the drive, if you like beer.

First visit. The owner was behind the counter and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Décor is sort of law library meets loft. Owner is/was a lawyer. About 30 beers on tap. Generous samples, though there is a max of 4 and he’s required to charge because of Lawrenceville law. It was not quiet as a church; thye had a great music selection playing. I ended up buying 3 growlers. I go to the square fairly regularly so I’ll definitely be back.

I have been going to Exhibit Ale for my growler fills about once or twice a month since it opened back in 2012. They generally have about 30 beers on tap on a rotating basis with something for everybody. The list is always changing, so go to the Exhibit Ale Facebook page( ) to get the most current one. The décor is a bit spartan with only a couch, a coffee table, and the bar, but that’s OK. After all, it’s not a bar. The guys that work here are friendly and knowledgeable, and oftentimes I find myself just shooting the breeze with them as I work my way through my sample flight as I make a decision. Some reviewers have griped about the sample fees; unfortunately, this is a necessary evil due to city(or county) ordinance. When the proprietor is also a lawyer, you should expect litigiousness when it comes to the rules. The prices are standard. Growlers aren’t really about saving money; instead, they’re about getting access to beers from breweries that aren’t generally distributed in bottles. Remember to hold onto your growlers so all you have to pay for is the pour. Come visit while you’re waiting for a table at Local Republic if only for the $ 5 sample flight. Chances are you’ll get a preview of what’s on tap at the restaurant.

Figured I’d try this place out because it was close to my flight school. I took five fellow students all of whom purchased growlers. I tried one sample and bought a growler. After my purchase I was curious about another beer and asked for a sample. He refused unless I payed a «sample fee» over a dollar. I go to the chain«beer growler» in Suwannee frequently and I can try as many samples as I wish. I won’t be going back, nor will I bring a group of customers to this establishment. I’ll take the dollar and some change in my pocket and use it at a more customer friendly growlers.

Not just for connoisseurs, but for regular folks who love beer and want variety on occasion. We love picking something out to share with friends. Jesse keeps his Facebook page updated daily with current offerings. This week he is carrying several New Belgium brews — the Trippel is amazing.

Just returned from my third visit and I must say I’m officially hooked. Great guy and great rotating selections. Craft/gravity fans should seriously give this place a look. Knowledgeable owner who loves Lagunitas maybe more than I do! A must visit for anyone who loves the hops.

This place is great! At first I didn’t really get the concept, but I’ve slowly become a fan. I’ve been here several times now and it’s always a treat. Jesse is a cool dude and he definitely knows his stuff. I wish the samples were free though, it would make buying something that you want a little easier. Also, I wish they get some good tunes going in the store. Overall, I’m glad that we have a neat beer spot in downtown Lawrenceville and I’ll definitely be coming back!

My first growler experience! The design on the bottle is nice and the place is very inviting. The staff was kind enough to find me after my google maps got me lost. I haven’t had a chance to taste the beer that I bought. Thoughts… I didn’t get .75 samples, they were closer to 1.50 a sample or 4 for 5 dollars. They come in the disposable mouth rinsing cups. Selection wasn’t too bad. I’ll be back!

First visit with the lady friend last evening. I like it so far. They probably have around 30-ish different specialty and craft beers on tap. He does some very simple, cool looking 32 and 64 oz growlers. We picked up a 32 oz. of Clown Shoes Tramp Stamp last night that I’m waiting to crack open. The atmosphere has a library, study, den feel to it. There are couches to hang out on, which is a nice touch and lots of floor space. Samples are ample but you do get charged .75 for each. That’s OK. The prices on the beer seems reasonable. We are over in downtown Lawrenceville enough that I am sure we will be back. They are located on N. Perry just about 3 – 4 shops up the hill on the left from McCray’s.

Awesome place with reasonable prices for specialty beer. Lots of different beers on tap. They are a growler filling establishment. Prices are different for each type of beer. Best of all, they can sell tasters so you can try before you buy a whole growler. They will also allow you to use another business growler as long as its a true growler. They also take all credit cards and open pretty late. They were open until 9. Check their Facebook page for active listing of what’s on tap. I’m glad to have found a local place since moving out here to get growler fills of beer. The Duluth place does not allow tasters. Big difference for me wanting to come here. Definitely give them a try
