Dogwood Pizza

Simply amazing, i was looking for a quick delivery bite read the reviews and felt comfortable enough to order i got the pepperoni pizza and it was Amazing me and my daughter loved it so very much keep up the great work guys!

Was in the mood for something quick + tasty. Initially wanted pizza but did not want to be disappointed so went with sides. Ordered the cheesy sticks, hot + lemon wings, & a Caesar salad. I enjoyed everything except the wings. The sauce wasn’t the best flavor. The free cinnastix w, a check in def made up for that! They were delicious! Super friendly staff is why they received 4 stars + not 3.

First time ordering today. Had a group of kids over at the house for a play date and figured we’d give Dogwood a try. It was great and delivered quick. Will definitely order from them again. Thin crust pepperoni was my favorite.

This is the first time we have eaten in their newly renovated restaurant. It had a cozy feel to it and it is pretty quiet. One thing we noticed is that they offer more if you eat in as opposed to simply ordering for pick up. There are more options as well as alcoholic beverages! The one downside if it can be considered a down side is you still have to order at the register but that is not a problem in the slightest.

Well, not feeling that great today to cook and figured I would order some delivery pizza for dinner. I wanted to try something new so I was going to order from Dogwood. I noticed they don’t have any salad on their menu, but I was only going to get pizza this time anyways, so that’s fine. I spoke with a girl and then I spoke with a gentleman and apparently my address which is in the exact same 30 044 zip code as Dogwood Pizza is too far to deliver for them. No stars because the business doesn’t want to take my money and drive 4 miles.

I live in Chicago and called Dogwood Pizza and spoke to Joey (who was AWESOME) about ordering Pizza’s for the New Mercies Christian Church in Lilburn, Choir practice this afternoon. This was going to be a surprise for the group and boyyyy were they SURPRISED! The pizzas arrived on time and everyone loved the pizza so much they kept asking where it was from!!! A BIG THANK YOU again to Joey… you were right your pizza is very good :)

First time here ever since I knew about it replacing Buck’s Pizza. The service was excellent and so was the food quality. Portion size was pretty good as well. I had the special of 1 large 1 topping and 10 wings. Well worth the price.

This pizza establishment is off the beaten path but so worth the find. Fresh handmade crust, fresh ingredients and scrumptious taste. Warm and friendly environment. When I choose pizza then I chose Dogwood everytime.

We have lived down the street from this pizza place for nearly 8+ years and tried it for the first time only a few weeks ago and have ordered from them several times now. My husband absolutely loves pizza and this place has become an instant fave and go to place for us. We couldn’t believe we didn’t try it for so long.
Our very first impression after biting into our pizza for the first time was that it has the taste of Florida pizza near the beach! It’s soo delicious! My husband loves the breading and I love the cheese. My daughter who is the pickiest eater, barely eats even a slice when we get pizza elsewhere but she eats up to 3 slices from this place and that’s how we definitely know this place is pretty good.
The breadsticks, cinnamon sticks, and wings are good as well. One thing I noticed was that when I order from here the check seems to be a little bit pricier than when we order from other places but it’s well worth the price.
One thing I do plan to mention next time I order is the amount of grease/​oil in the pizza, I don’t know if this can be helped at all but the last time we order 2 large pepperoni pizzas one of them were drenched in oil to the point when I picked up the slice it was dripping. But I’m sure that’s a small minor fix.
Other than that we love this place and it’s definitely worth a try! Another huge surprising plus for us was that they also deliver!

I recently moved to the area and of course immediately began hunting for a regular pizza place to get my pizza on, By a happy coincidence I discovered Dogwood Pizza, easily a match for my past favorites and hands down beating all the chain places, Excellent Crust, Real Cheese, Meat and Vegies to savor.
Since finding them, they are my place to go for pizza and the soda dispenser has a good flaver mix as well, Strong and Sweet enough on the flavors I’ve tried so far. It is a nice, clean establishment well worth patronizing.

Usually it’s great, but I ordered two strombolis Sunday evening 9÷6÷15 around 8:00, and it was not good. I ordered one veggie delight for my wife and one veggie delight but no olives and add bacon, ground beef and pineapple for me. My wife said hers was fine, but they were both overdone almost to being burned, and mine had no meat at all (zero, like they forgot that I ordered meat) and very little veggies, mostly just pineapple. And not fresh pineapple, canned, which would be okay if there was something else to go along with it (like meat!). I commented to my wife that my stromboli had absolutely no flavor. With it being overdone, it was like cardboard with mushy pineapple filling. Oh, and cheese, that was the one positive, there was plenty of mozzarella, which is why I actually ate it instead of throwing it out.
And the bill was almost $ 20. We usually go to Marcos just because it’s cheaper and closer, but we decided to splurge a bit. I’m sorry we did!
I wish I could have just written an email to someone at Dogwood, but there is no place to do that on their website, so instead I had to write this public review.
I believe there were only two people working in the store when I went to pick up my strombolis, and apparently they were new or something, because this was NOT the quality I expect and in the past have always received from Dogwood (Buck’s).

We frequently get takeout pizza & salad from here and everything is always great. This is a perfect place to bring the family or grab some takeout. Greek salad & Caesar salad are highly recommended, as are the Margherita & BBQ Chicken pizzas. Service is always friendly & effecient too. They recently changed their name from Buck’s to Dogwood but it’s the same ownership & still has great food!

You gotta try the meatball pizza! Stopped in on Friday and ordered a meatball pizza. I was so pumped to see a ton of meatballs on my pie. Really good sauce and delicious cheese. Thanks for a great pie! You guys ROCK!

These guys are second to none for their support of the community, they have too many plaques to display. and oh yeah, their food is terrific. You almost can’t hit a local high school game without finding their pizza in the concession stand, but it’s even better delivered or at their new dine-​in area. It’s clean, the service is great and their pizza cannot be beaten locally.

This was my first time at Bucks pizza. I had remembered the name from a location that was in Grayson Ga. The first thing I noticed when I walked inside, they looked like a pizza joint from a TV show. It was very cozy with lights in the window that read «wings» «pizza by the slice» I ordered at the counter and sat down to eat. An employee brought out my food and the one slice I had ordered was huge. I thought it was two slices. I had ordered cheese with fresh basil. It was delicious. What I liked most was the crust. It was not your typical burned, hard, crispy crust. I was soft and fantastic. The owner, Ron walked into the dining area to ask me what I thought? I thought that was a great touch! He told me the crust was a family recipe. The only critic I would have is the Parmesan cheese was in packets which made it come out in thick clumpy bits. Also, I was hoping for homemade dressings for salad dressing. Overall great place, great food, and nice local owner.

There pizza is awesome. Even better news their salads are soooo yummy. We dined in the restaurant tonight and was surprised at how clean and inviting everything was. Their CHEESE sticks is more like a CHEESE pizza. Just an fyi

Great delivery pizza, now have done in and also beer! Super, clean, and convenient! Nice general Italian menu too!

This is my favorite place from which to order pizza in town, hands down! They do not provide any form of sit-​down, but if you’re looking to take home a super-​tasty pizza on any night of the week, order from Buck’s!
The pizza can be described by many as greasy, but before you take that into a completely negative light, I encourage you simply to try it. The grease on Buck’s pizza, unlike other greasy pizzas I have had in the past, contributes largely to the taste without dripping of excess. It is essentially a perfect amount of juiciness.
A list of positive aspects include:
1. friendly, polite staff (never had any complications)
2. pizza is well-​prepared with plenty of cheese and a perfect amount of sauce, not too little and definitely not too much
3. They offer soft drinks inside.
4. Staff is always polite over the phone
5. Never once have I experienced an incorrect order; they’re really trustworthy!
6. They deliver to River Oak Swim & Racquet Club! I have ordered many a pizza and had it delivered to me while I am at the pool over the summer
7. I am not sure if this is a particularly current policy (if they have changed it at all), but they have always offered great coupons and deals.
Overall, fantastic local pizza, reasonable price, great for a movie night-​in!
