Had never heard of this place until I received a gift card for Christmas. So the wife & I decided to check it out. My wife loved the décor, I liked the variety of music. I ordered the Reuben with tomato basil soup, wife got the chicken salad with summer pasta salad… both were out of this world! Will defiantly be back.

After reading the first two reviews I was really excited about trying this place out. Unfortunately the place wasn’t very spectacular. The sides were room temp, neither hot or cold. I got«Apple and pineapple» which I thought would be like an apple side salad. It was a marshmallow mush with little flavor and a funky aftertaste. The broccoli salad was covered in cheese and oddly warm. Sandwiches were nothing to rave over. American cheese and too much sauce on my pretzel panini. The Rueben was super soaked with sauce. Edible enough to be filled up for lunch but I’ll try something else next time.

I wrote this review about 4 years ago and it still applies Most Charming Place /Most Delicious Food. My wife and I like to think of ourselves as beginner Foodies, but there is nothing«beginner» about the food and customer service served up by the«Heavens to Betsy» Crew. Forget taking your cues from the likes of Guy Fieri, Adam Richman, and even Anthony Bourdain. Not necessary when such a place exists in our own backyard. A place chocked full of savory and sweet goodness. We have tried a variety of the cuisine offered up in this cozy, coffeehouse-like environment, and have never been disappointed. Seriously folks! You could not find better sandwiches, tomato pie, quiches, soups, and baked goodies if you drove in a 100 mile radius. Heavens to Betsy is locally owned by people who care about a quality eating experience. Its reflected in their welcoming faces, the quaint, inviting environment, and the delicious food. Whats best you ask? Its really hard to say whats best when everything is so gratifying, but my personal favorites are the Reuben Sandwich, the Turkey Bruschetta(a special item), the Pig Licking Cake, and the Orange Dream cookies. Listen folks! Never you mind the great value! Just go and treat yourself to some of the best Bites that Kentucky has to offer.
