This place is under new ownership. The food quality had started to slip, under the old régime. It appeared they began to run out of money and had to buy lower-quality meat, frankly. Still, food was OK, but the barbecue wasn’t as good as it once was. Even their signature brisket was much fattier and less flavorful than before. Still, the food was average and the service, while slow in the past, really slowed down. The new owners appear to be enthusiastic, anyway. The food was still average, except for the potatoes, which were an undercooked bummer. The new régime is Latino, and they said they were planning to mix in a little Caribbean fare to the menu, which sounds like a fine idea. I’ll give the place another shot. I mourn that things didn’t seem to end well for the former ownership. Work circumstances really limited the frequency of my visits there and, as I mentioned, things started to take a turn for the worse. Wishing them success in whatever they’re on to now — both super-nice people — and buena suerte to the new folks.

Went here for breakfast last weekend. Food was mediocre and the time it took to get it was crazy. We waited 45 minutes for our food and besides on other couple, we were the only ones in the restaurant. The entire staff was extremely friendly and attentive. If it wasn’t for the wait I would have probably given 4 stars. Nothing special but not horrible either.

Really awesome staff! Thanks for a good lunch! Just not sure about who they are. Three Dogz Diner or Rancho Brazil? Identity crisis! Service was normal speed for a Saturday brunch hour. Coffee was hot, people were beyond welcoming and thankful for our business. Would go back tonight!!! Thanks again!

New owners but I never knew the old owners anyway. First time here and for a small place they got some good breakfast. The beef brisket really cooked well I was impressed. First time ever having it with eggs. Portions are big so you definitely getting your money’s worth.

This place is located by a canal and makes an effort to be a bit romantic. Nice staff and OK food. If looking for someplace a little different, check ‘em out.

Still loving this place. The food is great, the folks are kind, the place is cozy. Did I hear a rumor that they might be closing!?? I sure hope not. Ah — I see — changed owners! I hope they get their rhythm going soon. I look forward to many, many quality control meals :-)

I’ve driven by this place everyday for a while and now decided to try it. I was informed that the previous owners have sold the place and the new owners have been there for 5 days. The menu is relative the same as other diners in the area. I ordered the eggs benedict and it was good. The bacon was REALLY good and I would suggest it. I would suggest making the home fries a little crispier. The service was good. The chef/owner came out and asked us what we thought about the food which I thought was really nice of him to do.

While small for some, I feel it’s plenty big when it comes to comfort. I always enjoy sitting by the windows every time I come. For some who get sat in the front I can see it be a bothersome as there are times the front gets busy with patrons. The time you go can be a hit or a miss with how long it takes to get a table. Seating can be limited, but I’ve never had to deal with long wait times. I’d say no more than 15 minutes max. I’ve always been greeted at least by one of the staff and have always been asked about if I saw the specials on the board. Sometimes I forget to check, but I’m glad they remind me. When it comes to ordering, the wait doesn’t feel like anything. Maybe it’s because I’m staring at the dam or the canal next to the diner. My favorite thing to order is the vanilla chai. It’s the best I’ve had any where! Along with the eggs benny. Pure goodness once my plate arrives. The food is always delicious and never has there been a mistake made in my order. Your mileage may vary, but my significant other and I both enjoy coming here.

=OK food, extremely slow service= The place is small, a mix of about 15 booths and tables, so my initial assumption that service would be relatively quick seemed reasonable going in, especially since we were got there as the initial breakfast rush cleared out. I could not have been more wrong! With the restaurant about half empty, it took 45 minutes to bring out two orders. I don’t know if they were waiting for chickens out back to lay the eggs or what, but it was beyond absurd. When the food got there it was pretty much on par for any given breakfast place in New England. I ordered huevos rancheros just to see what kind of peculiar New England take on Mexican food they would come up with and wasn’t disappointed. Deep fried corn tortillas piled with over easy eggs, refried pintos and some sort of chili on top. Not at all what I was expected, but not horrible either. Go here only if you have at least an hour and a half to spend eating breakfast.

George and Sheila have sold the place, and the new owner, Nati, takes over 3⁄1. Same menu. This has been a dependable and delicious spot for years. Victoria and I have had countless wonderful breakfasts here, and they will be missed. It was getting colder while we were there today, the waterfall stopped moving and froze! Good luck G & S!

Went there yesterday with my wife before antique shopping at the mills. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Eggs Benedict on a bed of sweet potato hash. The hash was just phenomenal. The seasoning extra special. My wife had the blueberry banana pancakes. Again a fantastic choice. I know because I had to help finish hers. The wait staff were great. Very attentive and friendly. They kept my wife’s coffee filled without asking and we’re just plain pleasant to talk to. I on the other hand, am a tea only drinker. The tea they served was a generic brand that I found simply delicious. So much so the owners graciously accepted my request to order a couple of boxes. I will be picking them up this weekend. Part of me thinks as much as I enjoyed the tea, I’m using it as an excuse to go back. The chefs and I believe they were the owners stopped and wished us a great day. Already looking forward to next weekend.

Eh. This was not my favorite experience and it was 100% because of our service. We walked into this small place and were instantly ignored by 3 people working there. No hello. No «it will be just a couple of minutes». Nothing. Finally a friendly server came over and told us that one of the tables would be up in just a minute and we could have that table. I watched as the other server cleaned our table with a bottle of Windex and a rag. Fine. Later I would watch her do the same thing to another table and then turn around and pick up every single utensil by the part you put in your mouth with those same hands that had just been using the dirty rag. Ugh. We had to wait an excessively long time FOREVERYTHING. Getting water and a juice took 15 minutes. Our food took about 40 minutes to come out. There were only two of us and the place was NOT busy. We had to ask several times just for a few straws. To actually pay I had to ask the first friendly server to bring us our check because our server had disappeared. Again. Our server just seemed totally out of it and was not able to get it together. It literally took her 5 minutes to locate a pen for the couple next to us because she just kept walking from the table to the front over and over with no sense of purpose. The last issue that I had was this whole credit card thing system they have. You have to fill out the tip first and then they run your card for that exact amount. She just stood there while we wrote out our tip and then critiqued my husband’s penmanship. It was just… strange. Honestly, our visit was weird and I wouldn’t ever go back. It is a shame because our food was pretty good, but definitely not worth the hassle.

The outside of the diner leaves something to be desired, but inside it is quite a cute little place. Very clean with SUPER friendly wait staff. The cook even shouted a getting from the kitchen on the way in. They really go all the way to making you feel welcome. I got the brisket and eggs breakfast combo with grilled English muffins(wow) and home fries. My wife got the ribs and eggs combo with BBQ’ed beans(breakfast fine right). And the prices are extremely reasonable. Really recommend this place!

Charming Mom and«Pup» diner with excellent, creative fare and a nice view of the canal and Great Stone Dam. They rock the classics, but also offer a wide variety of alternatives. Mini Belgian Waffles are doughnut-sized pillows of flavor, and buttermilk pancakes are also complemented by the real, not-from-a-plastic-container Maple Syrup. A vintage little, family-friendly spot with several booths and something for every taste, breakfast or lunch. Steady stream of customers knows this is a gem.

Trying to find a place to eat at 11am on Father’s Day was a bad idea. Went to a few other places before settling on the Three Dogz Diner. Sat immediately and put in our drink orders and mulled over the menu for awhile. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and the egg was PERFECTLY poached. Seriously. Perfect. The English muffin was toasted and crisp but still chewy and everything else on the plate was delicious. Also had the Southern Biscuit Dessert(I think that’s what it was called…) which was a fresh biscuit smothered in butter and honey… mmmmmm… The most interesting part of our meal? The raccoon trying to claw its way up the canal wall with it’s baby in its mouth. The managers actually went outside and tied a rope to a ladder and put it down into the canal so the little lady could get up more easily. When she did, everyone cheered. Good way to spend brunch.

Great little diner for breakfast. Food was good, atmosphere was cute but service was wonderful. We also found the prices ver reasonable. We had a traditional breakfast for 3 and paid less than $ 25!

I went here recently with my friend and we really enjoyed ourselves. Its a cute quaint diner, the people are so nice and I love that where we sat the windows faced the canal and all the sunlight came in. We had tried going a few other places for breakfast but they were either closed or weren’t service breakfast or only took cash. We found this place on Unilocal, walked in and everyone greeted us with a resounding HELLO. We were quickly seated and they let us know they were still doing pancakes and french toast but no other breakfast, so we decided to each get the pancakes and then got mashed potatoes and backed mac and cheese. It was a wonderful carb session after doing a huge weight training workout and cardio session. The portions were perfect, the pancakes huge and fluffy. IT was a lovely experience we will definitely be back!

Great little diner for a weekend breakfast. Had the three egg omelet and my wife had the breakfast rubin. Portions are very large and the food was fresh. My son had a side pancake and bacon and it was perfect. Plenty of parking and a very family friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Totally in love with this little piece of Lawrence! Nothing better after night-shift than going to a diner where they greet you by first name and know your order :-) I’ve had a few different items on the breakfast menu, but I LOVE The Holly with maple syrup, and a side of crispy bacon! The Holly is basically a soufflé-like baked French toast stuffed with cream cheese. It would be a waist-line killer if you ate it every day, but once or twice a month it’s an awesome treat!
