DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

This store is never busy. I have been in here numerous times and always feel like I am the only customer shopping. The nice thing about this is that the employees are always eager to help. The store has a very large selection of shoes as well as items on clearance and I can always find something I don’t really need, but the deal is too good to pass up. Needless to say I think I can do damage to my wallet every time I set foot inside.

I like this DSW. It was huge and organized. First floor is all sandals, dress shoes, work shoes etc… Second floor is men’s, clearance and flats and sneakers. There is an escalator or you can take the elevator.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The checkout line was long and took a while to move but they were understaffed so it’s understandable.
What I hated: Every time I found a shoe a liked, I couldn’t find my size at all.
I like this location a lot though.

This DSW is so organized and clean! The staff does not pressure you and constantly ask you if you need help, which I really appreciate! There are a lot of great picks at this location, as well.
The clearance section was full of great deals. There is tons of parking, you never have to worry about not finding a spot.
DSW also puts your shoes on hold until the next day if you are unsure if you want to commit to them at that moment!

Ok I took two stars away because of this:
This dsw never have the once a year luxury sale that the other DAW stores have. The one in Garden city you can get a nice pair of gucci or jimmy Choo shoes :)
This DSW employees aren’t as nice as most DSW stores I’ve been too. I’m coming in to buy lots of shoes you should greet me at the door and when I leave lugging my bags.
The lights In this store is always dim. Hello! I need bright lights to see what exact color red the shoes is I’m trying on and if that black patent leather pump looks cheap or not. lol
Otherwise if you in a rush and don’t want to search through piles of shoes unorganized at Burlington coat factory or Marshall’s go to this DSW!

Oh how I love this store! Besides the fact that I’m a huge shoe lover and admirer of the brand, the Lawrence store is one of the best around! The store has been transformed after the mishap with Hurricane Sandy so it’s much more appealing to look around. There’s a huge variety of styles and sizes to choose from however, it’s nothing like the Roosevelt Field store.
The staff is what really makes this store what it is. The managers and associates are so friendly and helpful, it makes my shopping experience that much better!

I received a DSW gift card a few months back and finally made it to a store to see what I could get. I was in search of simple black comfortable shoes that I could wear to work and figured a nice pair should be easy enough to find.
I arrived around 11 on a Tuesday morning. The first thing I took note of was how neat the store is. When I think of warehouse I think of disarray with a slew of shoes and items thrown everywhere. To my pleasant surprise it was spotless and I didn’t see not a single shoe or purse out of place. That was a plus. It was so neat that I felt obligated to put back everything I tried on just to maintain the order. Even the clearance section was orderly.
They have a wide selection of shoes. Shouldn’t be too hard for you to find something you are looking for. I quickly found a few pair of shoes I wanted to decided between. The workers were pleasant and asked if I needed any help.
The prices aren’t some super duper bargain but they aren’t over the top either. They have some decent brands at decent prices.
Overall my experience here was a pleasant one. I hate shopping and here I was able to do what I needed to do without being annoyed. I purchased a pair of shoes and an adorable hat and I was pleased with the whole thing.
I can’t say I’m running back because simply I’m not big on shopping BUT given another gift card I’d definitely be back and when in search of shoes I would try here again for sure.

Great prices for a limited but in some cases very appealing selection of shoes. I’ve found some great brands and products in here, but I obviously either have a size that sells out quickly or was made in limited quantities.
Two things which I didn’t like:
— In some cases the «great deals» really weren’t, as I found the shoes for far less at Amazon. Keep your barcode scanner at the ready and compare your prices!
— Getting followed around the store by the «loss-​control» agent. Really? Come on…
